Leafsong piled up the herbs she had just brought back.The pile of herbs she had stored was littled,and she knew that if there was a battle,the herbs would not be enough for the whole clan.Leafsong looked at the herbs she had,trying to remember what she did not have in her supply yet.Leafsong used to go to Big Claw Island to collect herbs,where herbs were abundant and she could find most of the herbs,but now that OceanClan wanted to claim Big Claw Island,she did not dare to go there.Although there were herbs growing on IslandClan territory,they were destroyed easily when a storm came,which left little for her to collect.Thinking about all these,Leafsong could only hope that the clan would not be in battle so soon.

Dawnstorm walked out of the comfort of the Queens nest and slowly walked around the camp. She breathed in heavily. It had been a long time since she had been able to leave the nest without having to worry greatly. Her sister had offered to watch the kits while the slept so she could get out of the den and gets some fresh air and stretch her legs.
She smiled, Dawnstorm couldn't have a better sister like Blackpatch. Stretching her wery legs, Dawnstorm walked over to the medicinecat's den and sat down at the entrance, watching Leafsong pile up her herbs. "Hello Leafsong. Did you find any herbs today?" She mewed gently, she didn't want to scare the medicinecat. [/size] |

Leafsong turned around,and saw Dawnstorm."Hi Dawnstorm.I found some herbs today,but hopefully they'll be enough if a battle comes."Then,changing the subject,Leafsong asked "How are your kits,Dawnstorm?"

Nodding, Dawnstorm understood her worry about the battles. Oceanclan was starting to attack for Big Claw Island more often now. But she decided not to bring it up, since Leafsong change the subject.
"Oh, the kit's are doing great. They are growning fast and so far I havent seen any signs of sickness. Nightkit seems to be the troublemaker, he likes to pick on his sister." She giggle slightly to herself. "But Marblekit tends to pick back at him, and Fogkit, he just likes to watch." Dawnstorm purred at remembering when Nightkit and Marblekit started batting at each other yesterday, even if they are very young.

Dawnstorm nodded. "He does, but I think he will turn out to be a great warrior, and maybe his wanting to protect his kin will make him stronger." She turned to face the queens nest which was hidden by moss and rocks. "but I can help but worry for him, and the others. Maybe its just a mothers instict though."
She tried to hide her worry, and did it very well, her usual happy self returning. [/size] |

A small kit ran into the den and ran straight at Dawnstorm. "Mama! Mama! Nightkit is fighting with me again!" came a small mew from Fogkit as he charged right into his mother.
"Tell him to stop it!" he mewed again.

Leafsong asked Fogkit "Where's Nightkit?"
Just then,Nightkit entered Leafsong's den."I didn't fight with him!" he meowed.

Fogkit gave a small mew and hid behind Dawnstorm's paws. "Yes you did! You tackled me from behind again!" he replied. His eyes were wide with fear of being attacked by his older brother again.

Fogkit gave his brother a glare and looked up at Dawnstorm with pleading eyes. "He did Mama. He gave me a bite on the back on my neck and wouldn't let go," he said.

"You just messed your fur up.I certainly didn't bite you!" Nightkit meowed.
Leafsong looked at the two kits arguing.It was hard to tell who was saying the truth.
