"I meant, I think the Clan will notice that most of their warriors are missing," said Arrowfeather, returning the glare. Luckily, her glare was one of the most scariest things about her.

"You might be older than me, but watch yourself Arrowfeather with those glares," Dawnleaf hissed at her. "If you like you can go back and tell Hawkstar what we are doing if that would make you feel better, or we can worry about being missed later and get this over with so we can get back in time."

Keiogo just listened to the two she-cats bicker. He looked away.
"I can carry on on my own, now... I don't want to trouble you guys too much." He said simply, now finished his meal.

"Now, now, temper...." she said to the Medicine Cat. She knew that she shouldn't fight within her own clan, especially with the medicine cat, but she would not give up what she was in. "I've already agreed to help you, and I am not a traitor, so I will not tell Hawkstar. I am simply thinking about consequences. And unless you know where to start, I suggest you start thinking too." Arrowfeather sat down, her tail lashing back and forth. She whipped her head towards Keiogo. "Nonsense, we were just having a friendly discussion. Any other information that would be useful?" she said, a frown on her lips.

"Yeah, you just caught me on my good day," Dawnleaf joked. "And don't worry about consequences as I said. I'll take the blame since it was me who first decided to help," she finished.
She padded off where she knew of where one great tree was in the forest. She only hoped that this one was the right tree and they could find the she-cat. She didn't even look back to see if the others were following her.

Arrowfeather's tail calmed, but it still went back and forth. She slowly got up and followed, her head down, thinking deeply. As she walked, her tail drooped and drug on the groud.

"Not really. I'm sure you'd be able to scent her right away since her smell is foreign like mine... and she is quite the hider. She can find hiding spots anywhere." Keiogo went on, his tone hinting pride for his daughter.
The black tom watched Dawnleaf walk off and just watched her. He wasn't really sure if Kia was that way... he'd just wait and see if she found anything or not beefore rising. It felt good to be sitting down for a moment...

Dawnleaf continued on until she came near the tree. There was another strange scent in the wind that was coming from the juniper bush nearby. She gave a glance at Arrowfeather, but stopped near the bush so she wouldn't scare the she-cat.
"She's here," she whispered to Arrowfeather.

Arrowfeather disappeared silently and then ran towards Keiogo. She kidded to a halt in front of him. "Come on," she said, waiting for the cat to get up.

Keiogo looked at Arrowfeather and laughed at himself, "Sorry. I'm acting like an old tom. The traveling hasn't been good to me. Don't mind me..." He got to all four paws and his straggly tail waved a few times behind him, debris from the forest floor falling off.
As Dawnleaf came to the large tree, a scurrying sound could be heard for a moment in the bush. As the Medicine cat came a bit closer, a low growling noise was audible.

Dawnleaf gave a sigh, but made no movement towards the bush. Instead she called out to the cat. "It's okay Kia! You're father is here as well. Come out," she said in a gentle tone.

"Oh, hush now. You are not an old tom....Now c'mon!" she said, running at a pace that she thought sutible.

The gentle voice of Dawnleaf didn't make the she-cat any better. Growling turned to violent hissing that was so loud it was a wonder the leaves of the bush she was concealed within weren't falling off. Inside the bush, the young she-cat's fur stood on end and her hissing didn't stop.

Arrowfeather's ears pricked up. "Oh, no....." she muttered. Apparently, the she-catwasn't cooperating.

Dawnleaf was starting to get impatience with the she-cat and gave a low hiss off in exasperation. "If I wanted to harm you I would have done so by now," she said.
Dawnleaf was starting to wonder about if she made the right decision to help the two, but now she was starting to regret it. Might as well get done what I started. she thought to herself.
