"Hm." Keiogo mused, "I am used to your names in a sense." He left it at that. It was as if he knew more about the Clans than he let on, but it was hard to tell.
"My daughter is Kia." He suddenly said, randomly batting at a leaf with a dirty white forepaw. "She is mostly white, with gray patches on her head and all of her tail..." Keiogo trailed off, looking up to face the Clan cats. "If you spot her before me, it's best to not try and talk to her."
Before he could explain why or accept the hunting offer, Sabletripe showed up and started glaring at him with hosility. The tom just remained where he was and stared back with tired eyes.

Dawnleaf gave another glare at Sablestripe and turned towards Keiogo. "I wouldn't worry about her too much if she knows what's good for her," Dawnleaf said. She padded closer to him slowly and sat down near him.
"But first you must eat so you have the strength to find Kia," she replied. She moved her head towards Firepelt and Sablestripe with her glaze. "You two help as well if you are willing to hunt."

Keiogo looked at Dawnleaf thankfully. He was beginning to trust her more. Her kindess was not false or forced. "You remind me of someone I once knew." The tom blurted out.
Keiogo sighed and then went on as if he hadn't said it, "Thank you for offering to hunt for me. If I was healthier, I'd say no thank you but... I am so tired. I have to hunt for myself and my daughter all the time in these new lands because she isn't skilled in hunting. I don't know how to teach her..." He chuckled, "I'm not a very good father it seems... I can't find her food or teach her to find her own, and now she's lost because I don't know what I'm doing."

"Nonsense, you care for her and will do whatever it takes to find her. That is a good father to me," Dawnleaf replied. She gave him a small lick on the head to comfort him. "I know how you feel sometimes since to me my Clan are my kits."

(( Oi! I can't help it! Besides, I'M not the one who stays up all night and then is a total jerk in the morning! *pokes Sablestripe* Besides, even though it was late I was dying to roleplay. I needed my rp vitamins. XD ))

Keiogo smiled, "I suppose you're right." It was nice how friendly this she-cat was. It was understandable why the others weren't as open with him or were giving him the evil eye. He understood a bit how the Clan cats think. Or at least, what they thought about cats like himsef...

Sablestripe sighed through her nostrils and shot an annoyed glance at Dawnleaf. "Here," she grunted, placing the vole on the ground and roughly scooting it toward the tom. "JungleClan needs all the food it can get, but even rogue's have to eat sometime." She looked at Arrowfeather and hissed, more to herself than to her friend, "Why is he here? He and his daughter shouldn't even have been in our territory in the first place! Even a half-blind kit can tell where the boundaries are."

Keiogo could partially hear what the new she-cat was saying. Rather, he could really hear her tone and not her words but it was more than enough to realize what she was discussing with Arrowfeather. He brushed it off. He was more than use to this kind of treatment. In a way, the tom figured he deserved it.

Glancing up from her muttering, Sablestripe swung around and fixed her bright green gaze on the skinny tom. "Why are you and your daughter here anyway? I understand your worry, but I don't understand how you two came to be seperated. Maybe hearing the story will help us look."

Sablestripe twitched her whiskers and gave Arrowfeather a long look, but said nothing. She sat down next to Arrowfeather, her brown-furred tail twitched every now and then. Gazing expectantly at Keiogo, her green eyes still held slight traces of distrust, but she seemed ready to listen.

"Thanks..." said Arrowfeather, smiling. She lay down, grooming on of her paws.

Keiogo glanced down at his dirty white forepaws, silent at first. He needed to figure out the right words.
"Well, I had left her somewhere to find prey for her... but this forest is ridiculous. I have never felt so lost in my life, and I've lived under the stars for my entire life. I think I may have just went back to the wrong tree to find her..." Keiogo sighed. "We're in this territory because I thought I was heading the right way... I was following the sunset incorrectly. I was trying to head in the totally opposite direction. So I ended up here, wherever here is."
