Graypatch watched everyone quietly, deciding not to speak unless spoken too. It was hard for Graypatch to determine whether Rainstar would let Goldkit stay or not... he didn't know her well enough to judge what she was thinking.

Brighteyes, who had been with Rainstar from the start, silently watched the group of cats march in with the new little stranger. She inquisitively studied the small golden she-cat and for some reason recognized her.

StarClan, was this who you showed me in my last dream? Why? Brighteyes called out in her mind for her ancestors, but they were silent.

Goldkit kneaded her paws on the ground, sheathing and unsheathing her claws. She was just a tad nervous, but more than that, she was anxious to once again join Clan life. It called to her, just as a mother calls to her lost kits.

Brighteyes moved a few pawsteps to the small kit, "I think we should let her stay, Rainstar." The medicine cat said calmly. She looked to the leader, a thoughtful glint to her eyes. "I think it would be best for the Clan."

In more ways than one... Brighteyes couldn't help but think, and she wasn't really sure why.

_{Goldpaw glanced at Brighteyes. Something in her heart made her think, this is very ominous... Happy anyways, she had a medicine cat's approval. Happy, she sat straight, appearing better than she had a moment ago.}

Scarface flicked his tail with aggrivation. He looked at Brighteyes when she said the newcomer would be good for the clan if she was able to join. Scarface disliked rouges and loners, even if somehow she ended up with a clan name.
He kept his gaze on Goldpaw. Scarface didn't say anything, because it may start something he didn't want to get into, so he kept quiet and waited for the right time to speak up.

A new tom entered the area. His name was Blacktear because of the almost tear form seeming to come out of his eyes. His tabby form slipped around the new thang. She's a little cutie, aint she He thought with a smile as he looked down upon the younger cat. He continued to listen to the debats about the young She-cat

"I don't mean to be rude..." Goldkit said directly before a huge yawn that split her jaws for a few heartbeats, "But I am very sleepy. Does anyone mind if I take a nap?" Tail twitching, she layed down on the similarly soft ground. Definitely softer than rocks, Goldpaw thought cheerily. Things really were looking better as she settled into her nap.

Graypatch decided his prescence wasn't required anymore. He gave a slight nod to his sister, then silently walked off.

Brighteyes watched her brother go and sighed. She rarely spent time with him anymore. She was busy with her duties are Medicine Cat... The gray and white she-cat looked at Goldkit and her fur prickled slightly.

StarClan, why did you send me a message about this cat?

Frosteye left Rainstar's den too,and decided to hunt.

((Okay, I will post NOW! Even though I don't really know how to announce a clan meeting! X___x;; HA. And I just realised that Mountainclan has more cats than the others >D That's 'acoz WE ROCK MAN. *Does Jack bitches up WITH FEET*))

Rainstar looked over to Brighteyes as she murmered her approval of Goldkit. She looked at her quizzically, wondering what Brighteyes saw in the kit. Still, if the medicine cat thought she should join, for the clan, Rainstar thought so too. It was always best to follow the medicine cat's advice. She nodded slightly, indicating her approval. She leant down to the kit and whispered something in her ear, very quietly, so none other could hear. Not very much, but enough to get the message across. "You shall become a mountainclan cat, but be warned, if you are planning any treachery..." She left it at that, and lifted her head to adress the clan.

"Cats of Mountainclan, from now until she has earned her warrior name, this kit shall be known as Goldpaw. Goldpaw, do you promise to... wha?" As she had looked down, Rainstar realised that the youngling had fallen asleep. Right in the middle of her naming ceremony! The leader scowled and glanced furiously at Brighteyes, then Scarface. Outrageous! Frowning immensly, she started something else. "Also, it happens that Snowpaw does not have a mentor. Frosteye, Snowpaw shall be your apprentice." Rainstar tryed to keep her voice under control, but it still shook from the kits insolence. Hmmmph! Without a word, she turned and flicked her tail, indicating that she was to be left alone in her den, to simmer down.

Frosteye walked swiftly to join the meeting.When she heard that she was going to become Snowpaw's mentor,Frosteye was thrilled.

Brighteyes was silent. "I will explain later." She said simply to Rainpaw.

After the short ceremony, and Goldpaw's falling to sleep, Brighteyes slipped off. It was time to search for herbs and to ponder...

<sup>Leopardheart walked into the camp holding a vole, and a mouse between her jaws. She glanced around the camp for a moment, then walked up to the pile of food. She dropped her kill in the pile, and took a thrush for herself.

She walked over to the warriors den, and sat outside of it. She began to eat while looking around the camp ever minute or so.</sup>

Lunar padded up to Rainstar's nest and sat down for a moment wondering what she should say. "Rainstar are you there?" was all that came out of her lips, before she layed down in a slightly embarrassed pose. "I don't mean to intrude, but may I talk to you?" she said feeling a little bit more sure of herself, but still laying down.
