_{The gold apprentice nervously shuffled her paws. She wondered if Lunar had finished speaking to Brighteyes. Closing her eyes for a moment she opened them and backed out of the den. urning to see if Brighteyes was there, she spotted the medicine cat and, glancing around to make sure nobody could overhear her, began to spout out her dream. "My mother said, beware the clan that isn't a clan, the dark ones," Goldpaw said, bewildered. "What could it possibly mean?"}

Lunar had started to walk away from Rainstar's den, apparently the leader wasn't there. As she walked away she heard Goldpaw say "dark ones". This made a shiver go down Lunar's spine. She slowly padded over to Goldpaw and sat down silently behind her. "The only dark ones I can think of is DarkClan." she said with a silent displeasure. Her tail flicked around with agitation and concern. Her thoughts fled to to the time when she was still a kit. Her father told her brother and herself about DarkClan and she remembered how interested her brother was in it. "I hope you haven't done anything you'll regret Jaquar." she said unknowingly.

Rainstar sat in her den, brooding over what had just occurred. She had taken the kit in, but at such an important ceremony, it's naming one at that. And yet, something nagged her, told her that taking the kit in had been the best decision. What was it about her? She wasn't normal, that was for sure.

A cat came to her nest, and called for her. Even though she knew it was very rude and she shouldn't, Rainstar ignored her. It would have to wait, as she was in a brooding mood. Thoughts and emotions whirled in her mind, all wanting to be more important than the last. But there was one, one which made her jolt. The Gathering!

Rainstar walked out from behind the rock, and lept ontop of it. "Mountainclan, The Gathering is about to commence. The cats who will be attending are Graypatch, Frosteye, Snowpaw, Leopardheart, and of course, myself and Scarface."

With that matter attended to, she jumped off the rock and yowled to the cat from before. "I believe you wanted to ask me something?"

((I'm gonna be away from Thursday to next Thursday - Easter holidays, sorrry D:))

Lunar pratically jumped out of her fur when Rainstar addressed her. She walked over quickly to the she-cat and stood up infront of her. "Yes, I wanted to ask you if I could join your clan. I have no where else that I can return, and I already promised to StarClan that I wouldn't give away the location of your camp." her words came out stronger than she thought they would.

_{"Congrats Snowpaw!" Goldpaw said excitedly, trotting over to her friend. She didn't feel the least bit jealous; she would have her turn, and she was soundly sure that Snowpaw had earned this. She gave his ear a quick congratulatory lick.}

[Bluestar]

Frosteye heard her name being called.She was eager to attend the Gathering.

Rainstar raised her eyebrows at the female cat. "Well well well. It seems Starclan has responded to Mountainclan's needs." She looked her up and down for a moment, before nodding in a way that was impossible to tell the meaning of. "Very well. But you will be on the same terms as Goldpaw, and therefore you will need to prove yourself. We shall have your naming ceremony after the Gathering."

After her conversation with Lunar, Rainstar trotted to the entrance to camp. "Those attending, assemble quickly and let's go!" She waited for the cats to come, then turned and dashed into the undergrouth.

Lunar gave a soft sigh of relief, but as she looked up to the darkening sky she felt a wave of fear rush over her. She didn't know what it meant, but something like that was just going to loom over her head till she figured it out. 'I hope your not invlved in whatever's going on Jaquar.' she thought still looking at the sky. She turned, walked over to Goldpaw and sat infront of the apprentice. "Would you you mind going on a walk with me?" she asked in a somewhat desperate way.

[Sable]

Wildheart flicked an ear in Lunar's direction. He couldn't help having overheard her question. "Just a moment," he mewed with a grin, padding over to her. "Here's your first lesson in the warrior code: Apprentices can't leave the camp without their mentor or another warrior."

[Lunar]

"Thanks for telling me Wildheart." she said with gratitude," I have a lot to learn I guess, but I..." She stopped for a moment and thought over what she was going to do. 'It can wait til after the gathering.' she thought a little agitated. "I still have to wait for Rainstar to get back to recieve my apprentice name though." she told Wildheart sadly.

[Sable]

"Well," Wildheart replied, "That won't stop you from learning the basics, will it? Of course, you'd need to ask an able-bodied warrior like myself." He tossed his head in an attempt to look proud, although the laughing look in his pale eyes gave the game away.

_{A grin split Goldpaw's gold-sheened muzzle. "I think we need an able-bodied warrior to come with us in order to go on a walk. Scarface is at the Gathering, so technically I couldn't leave the camp without a warrior anyways. Maybe we could bring back some fresh-kill." Eager to get out and about, Goldpaw would leap at the chance to prove her worth as if that chance were a mouse passing right by. Maybe even a fat vole, and this crossed Goldpaw's mind. She knew well the warrior code, and so she wouldn't eat before feeding the Clan, but she wanted to hurry as she felt a rumble in her tummy.}

[Sable]

Wildheart nodded. "That's not a bad idea. Lunar needs to learn the warrior code as soon as possible." He stood and stretched. then padded toward the camp entrance. (( If they go hunting, it should be interesting, what with the DarkClan plot 'n' all that. >:3 ))

_{Goldpaw followed Wildheart with a glance at Lunar to follow. The gold she-cat wondered what they'd meet, but was more excited about the hunt. Her mother's prophecy still worried her, however. Should I tell them? she wondered. She wouldn't have hesitated to tell Snowpaw, but she didn't know if these cats would come straight to Rainstar about how disloyal she had been. "Wildheart... do you know when Rainstar and Brighteyes will return from the Gathering?" She asked tentatively.}
