Nodding, mostly to herself, Muted planned out what she was going to say in her head. She spoke, but her eyes never left Kia's face. "I see that you are very protective of her. You know, you wont be able to protect her forever." She grinned, not evilly, but almost an emotion that wasn't bad, but good. "Im going to propose a deal to you Keiogo. Im going to offer the best protection I can for your daughter, in turn, I want you to be a part of the clan." Her gaze shifted from her, to him. "But if you don't accept, I'm afraid I'll have to deal with you like I do with every other trespasser that enters our territory." Muted hoped he take the first choice, she felt that Wolf -even though hes not here anymore- would be angry with her if he didn't accept it.

Silver chose to step forwards. Rustling the grass with her tail, she stepped forth and sat beside her leader. "We want to offer you the best protection we can, we want to help you. While we realize you're not helpless, we could rip you to shreds in seconds." Unsheathing her silver claws for effect, they glinted maliciously in the moonlight. "It's your choice. These claws can help... or they can hurt. Depending on what you want." Hoping she had not interrupted anything, she side-glanced at Muted.

Muted almost openly snarled as Silver approached and started talking. She's going to ruin it! Silver's comments didn't please Muted one bit. If she scares him away, I'm going to rip her ears off! Muted glared at the she-cat, green eyes flairing. "If you know better Keiogo, you will ignore everything that Silver just said." She kept her glare on Silver, making sure that the Healer understood that she should have satyed in the bushes.

Temper flaring up like a fire in her chest, she glared back at Muted. She got the message; she shouldn't have come out. "I have a right to speak," The silver she-cat seemed to cough up the words before turning her back and going back to the bushes. Assuming a defensive position in case the two loners tried to make a run for it, her fur stood on end with frustration. ((Ooc: Silver has a VERY bad temper. ))

Keiogo frowned. This she-cat spoke truthfully... he couldn't protect Kia forever, not under the conditions he was in... He was weary, sick, and hungry, and Kia was soon going to turn out that way. His green gaze turned to his daughter, and he could almost swear she looked thinner than normal. The black tom shut his eyes and contemplated. Willingly join this horrid Clan of killers? But in exchange... he would have protection for Kia, and would be well. But would they expect him to act like them...? Kill like them?
He gave a loud sigh. "I will join you, I would rather not fight or be killed... Protection for my daughter is what I require most right now... but..." Keiogo trailed off, "... I suppose I will have to adapt to your ruthless ways..." His expression showed he was not too keen on the idea.
Kia was confused. Protection? Why would they need that!? They were doing fine on their own! But young Kia didn't realize her father was sick and weary, that was because this was the way she always remembered her father being. When Silver came in and out of the bushes Kia couldn't surpress a growl. She hated being around strangers, and now her father just agreed to join these hostile looking ones? If Keiogo said they would, Kia wouldn't put up a fight against his decision, but she wasn't sure if she could cooperate much with these strangers... She narrowed her eyes and her tail fur stood on end.

Dusk gave a small smile again, knowing that the tom had given in. She had paied no attention to Silver and still payed no attention. She sat down, still eger to hear more. Maybe even a fight would happen!

'They had given in so easily. Why?' Jaquar thought hard. He padded up beside Silver with intentive eyes. He layed down and looked at Kia. 'Why would she need protection?' he thought even harder. 'DarkClan needs more members though.' he thought with a grin. He flexed his claws happily.

Tiny was hiding running swiftly. He was trying to escape from DarkClan, and he wanted to do so this time without being caught. He had been caught several times doing so.When he heard Muted speaking,he hid into a bush.He saw Keigo and Kia,and heard the conversation.Tiny could tell that Keigo was not keen to join DarkClan, and decided to stay in DarkClan, and probably help them to escape,if they wanted to.

Growling a growl deep in her throat, Silver stalked away from the sideline of the scene angrily, half wanting to go back and slash Muted's throat out, but scenting another cat. Still, the scent piqued her curiosity. The flame still burned in her chest though. She had been raised in DarkClan since she was but a few moons old, but she lied to them about her age from the beginning, and she herself knew that she wasn't really as old as she pretended. Silver flexed her claws as she stalked away to find the scent. If she really didn't care, she WOULD claw Muted's throat out, or die trying. But she knew if she tried she was surrounded and would be slain. What a wonderful way to live, thought Silver. The only reason you aren't killed is because your subjects can't even trust each other. I trust no one. She didn't tell her secret to anyone, because she didn't trust anyone. She stopped, hearing a little rustling, and spotted Tiny sitting in the bushes. She narrowed her eyes. "Tiny, if you know what's good for you, don't move. What are you doing?"

Tiny quickly jumped into a crouch. He turned to Silver, and he appeared to know nothing as he meowed "Oh,nothing,Silver.I was just stalking a mouse, pointing to a mouse in front of him."

Silver narrowed her eyes and shook her glossy head. "As a Healer, I know these things. That's not why you were about. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," Silver added in an unusual kind streak. She bowed her head and closed her eyes for a second. Maybe I should take this chance to escape too? thought Silver. But a voice in her head sent a sharp pain through her; her conscience told her to kill Tiny, or report him to Muted, but this would be her revenge for Muted's nastiness earlier. She smirked to herself. Oh, yes, Muted may not know it at all, but she wouldn't care at all if this little cat got away. "You may go," Silver gestured in the direction Tiny was headed. "I can take that mouse back to the DarkClan barn or whatever it is." Silver tried to act careless, not gleeful, as she picked up the mouse and trotted back to the base.

Ooc: Arruuuug~ My interent connection has been on and off... mostly off x___x; and Im surprised its working now. But a guy is coming tomorrow to fix it hopefully =\ -goes to post now. And tries to catch up on reading-
Muted was very pleased when Keiogo agreed to join the clan. Then she turned to Kia. "I see much potential in you, only time can bring it out." Standing, she flicked her tail for the two to follow her back to camp. "If you do not wish to fight, then I suppose Silver could teach you the herbs and you could become a Healer. Healers don't always have to fight." Muted glanced back at the tom, she could tell he didn't want to be here, but she had promised Wolf that she would find his son. Which she had now done.

Keiogo held in a sigh and meekly followed the she-cat. Kia of course followed obidiently after her father. She simply gawked at Muted with curiosity yet dislike when she spoke to her. Kia did not really understand what was going on and she didn't like it. Keiogo could only hope that things would take a turn for the best.
