A small she-cat with outstandingly light ginger fur slowly sauntered through OceanClan territory. She was a fragile creature, the scars on the scrawny cat was still sinking in. Patches of her fur was ripped off from fights she had often been through. Fyora. Yes, the name of this small she-cat was Fyora. Fyora was graceful, lithe, gossamer and elegant. Optimistc was something she always kept in her brokenheart. With her tragic story, all she had was the fur on her back, the smell of the sootheing ocean, and the rushing salty air. 'Bye' That was a word Fyora knew best of all. Saying bye to her friends she had made along her journey was one of the worst. Annie. Annie was the last friend she had but the kittypet had to go back to her cozy twoleg home. Fyora, the six moon cat, longed to go with her but instead chose the one word she dreaded. Bye. The word hurt her, but what hurt most is never being able to say goodbye to her mother and father. 'They didn't want me, so don't feel bad.' Fyora had told herself so many times. But still, she felt horrible. 'They should fell horrible.' The small she-cat would insist. 'They threw me out like I was crowfood, and let me suffer! I'm lucky I survied. Through the attacks and living on no food!' It was the guilt trip she had been through many times that was happening. Sighing, Fyora looked around hoping to find a tangle of bushes she could call her home for the next week or two. Her homes never lasted long, nor did her friends. "Remember, this time, don't get tied into a knot." Fyora mewed to herself as she spotted a nestle of jaded bushes. She always told herself this. What she meant was, don't get connected to anything at all. She never could stop from doing this, though. Her kind and welcoming heart found everything intresting and exciting. Curling up in a small ball, Fyora let sleep claim her, hoping the prickles againt her fur wouldn't bother her. ((Sorry if I'm not aloud to make a new thread. ))

Sunlight filtered through the few trees on the OceanClan territory. The bitter winds of the ocean were barely felt this far from the shore. There was only a little bit of forest that blessed OceanClan's land but the Clan cats were very grateful for what they had.
A small, gray figure slipped out from some shrubbery. Curious blue eyes scanned the familiar area and a gray nose sniffed the air for prey. Stormpaw, the gray apprentice, had snuck out from his mentor's view once again to explore and hunt on his own. Ashtail would more than likely scold him when she found him but it was well worth the trouble! He loved to prowl freely through the trees and sometimes climbed them to the very top. He could see so far from there! Even though his little adventures got him in trouble, even with Taintedstar, Stormpaw couldn't resist. He may have just been apprenticed about a moon ago but he knew what he was doing... usually.
Stormpaw thought he scented a little mouse creeping around but afterward the scent of another cat stirred his nostrils. An unfamiliar cat, not even of another Clan scent... the gray tom crept forward and easily spotted the light ginger she-cat. Stormpaw assumed whoever the stranger was was about his age but much smaller and much, much thinner. She didn't look very healthy from what he could see.
Stormpaw just sat and watched the unknown cat. He didn't want to wake the sleeping stranger in case he frightened her. He would wait patiently, and see what would happen... his tail swished impatiently yet he managed to remain still.

Fyora was deep in sleep, her dream now feeling real. She could see the silky red fox, feel the cold breath and razor sharp teeth against her fur, smell the putrid scent, and hear the hisses emerging from the fox. The ginger she-cat's small paws thrashed wildly around, most of her body now out of the clump of bushes. Her tail flicked and twitched rapidly, looking full of pain. Fyora jumped up, showing her whole, thin body.
Seeing the gray tom infront of her, Fyora was ready to defend herself. Her long, thin teeth showed, pearly white and sharp as she let out a long hiss. "What do you want? I am NOT afraid to fight you!" The small loner snarled. Her fur stuck up with fear, she was lieing. She was very afraid. Squashing a grasshopper near by, she ate it hastly. She hadn't eaten for four or five days and starving. "Now, if you have nothing to say, leave me alone." Fyora lied down, head resting on her head.

Stormpaw had grown bored waiting and had layed down, his thick tail still swishing back and forth repeatedly. Blue eyes stared dazed-like at a tall blade of grass that was swaying slightly from the faint breeze. Suddenly he heard the nameless she-cat thrashing about and he could smell a faint fear scent. He quickly looked to see if she was alright, but her eyes were still closed. Stormpaw tilted his head quizically. She must be having a nightmare, the gray apprentice assumed.
Abruptly the ginger cat woke up before Stormpaw knew it, the smaller cat was puffed up and snarling at him! Stormpaw blinked at her, the scent of her fear overpowering. He didn't know if she would actually fight him had he been interested, but any cat would know better than to strike at such a defenseless, lost stranger even though she didn't belong on these lands.
After the stranger calmled down, Stormpaw sat up and just watched her eat the grasshopper. He couldn't imagine why she would've wanted to eat that! He stuck out his tongue. "Ughhm!" He said after she devoured the bug and commented about him going away, "You must be hungry if you were willing to eat a hopper! Those things are not worth the chase, I learned as a kit!!!" The apprentice rose to all fours excitedly, tail swaying. He loved to talk, no matter who it was. "If your hungry, there are lots of prey hidden in the forest. They just hide really good! Ya gotta sniff them all out and swat them and..." Stormpaw rambled, swatting his paws as if there were prey right there before him.

Fyora rose to her feet, her paws aching. Dreaming of the tasty prey on her tonuge, her eyes filled with eagerness. It was true all she had eaten for a week was a mouth full of berries and the grasshoper she devoured with hungry eyes. "Where? I'm starving!" The scrawny she-cat asked full of interest and thankfulnes. "Will you please show me?"
Fyora's was full of happyness, and her eyes were devoured with hunger. She sniffed the salty air, her nose lowering towards the ground. She carefully wandered off, turning around and in circles. "What do they smell like?" Fyora asked. She hadn't smelled real prey in moons. She hadn't entered the forest a lot, and when she did, she didn't dare hunt or even look at the mouth watering prey.

Stormpaw's tail swayed eagerly. He loved interacting with other cats! He would show this stranger where to find food, it would be a very fun way to pass the time until Ashtail came and found him. The apprentice smirked mischeviously.
Stormpaw motioned for her to follow as he crept into the centre of OceanClan's forest. It was very small, but the centre usually contained one thing or another to devour...
Hearing the she-cat's question, Stormpaw blinked at her, "What does prey smell like!?" At first he was stumped by the question "Well, it ... it smells like prey! Food! Animals! Good stuff..."
Stormpaw suddenly hushed as he heard something scramble through the fallen leaves just a few tail lengths away. It was a thrush, scurrying about aimlessly and pecking at something. The thing must have fluff for brains having not noticed two cats coming up from behind!
The gray tom lowered himself down to the soft ground, tail lashing noiselessly as blue eyes focused on the soon to be fresh-kill. In an instant Stormpaw has the thrush between his teeth. It had taken only moments to spill enough blood to end the life of the dull brown bird. He triumphantly looked back at the she-cat.
"Seemph!" He tried to speak through a mouthful of feathers but it didn't come out too well. He dropped the thrush on the ground, coughing out a feather. "Ack, as I was saying... see! Easy! Here ya go, have some!"

Fyora consumed the thrush in seconds, eating everything but the bones. 'Why waste?' She would mew to every other cat who questioned her. She licked her muzzle clean, and licked a couple of the bones clean. "How did you do that?" The ginger she-cat asked, feeling less hungry. Though she felt she could use more food to completly satisfiy her hunger. "Thank you. What's your name, anyways?" 'Here I go again.' Fyora thought, sighing. 'I'm going to become friends with this cat and end up having to leave and not want to.'

Stormpaw stepped back and curiously watched her eat the whole thing. The gray cat was a little hungry as he watched but his intentions hadn't been to hunt for himself anyway. He had planned on hunting for the elders, or for Ashtail, so she wouldn't be so angry when she found him... Besides, he wasn't going to force the starved looking stranger to share with him! As thin as she was, it wouldn't do any harm for her to eat whatever else Stormpaw could dish out for her.
"Scenting and hunting is super easy. I learned in in a day with Ashtail! She said I'm a good apprentice. Well... good as in learning I guess." Stormpaw mused. He knew he gave his mentor a lot of trouble but she somehow managed to put up with him, maybe because he was so skilled at what he did.
"Oh yeah, I'm Stormpaw!" He hastily introduced after she asked. He tilted his head and smiled, "Someday I'll have a cooler name. But I have to wait and earn it..." He sighed at the thought. Becoming a Warrior would be so fun!

Iceclaw had decided to go out hunting, seeing that the fresh kill pile was low and the water was getting much to cold to go fishing. And wish the bad weather yet to come, he needed to get as much as he could.
He slowly made his way through the small forest that was on their territory, looking, sniffing and crouching whenever he had to. Iceclaw had been hunting for about an hour and hadn't found a single prey to catch, and it was like he was going to climb a tree and attempt to get a crow. Vile creatures, he wouldn't eat one even if he was dying.
The scent of a clan cat drifted in his nose, no alarm there, but when the scent of a strange cat reached Iceclaw, his hairs stood on end. There is an intruder in our territory. I'll teach them to come here... He dropped to a crouch, and stalked forward as if hunting a mouse. Growling in his throat.
Slowly, he came up to the sight of Stormpaw, speaking with what it seemed to be a rogue. As the smell wasn't that of any Clan cat he knew. He watched for a while before walking through the brush that hid him. "Stormpaw! Get away for that rogue." He glanced down at the bones of prey, he bent down to sniff it. The rogues scent was all over it. His tail flinging, back at forth. "And what are you doing feeding this filth? You know it is against the warrior code! You of all cats should know that." His ginger pelt flexed from tense muscles. "I better take you back to camp, and have Tainedstar speak with you."
He turned his cold gaze at the skinny cat. "You... you had better come as well, Tainedstar wont be pleased of a rogue wandering in her midst." With that he turned, giving Stormpaw one last icy stare before walking back to camp, knowing he'd follow since making him mad isn't a good idea.
Ooc: Woohoo! xD -INTRUDES- I like barging in >)

Stormpaw had been waiting for the stranger to introduce herself, but the sound of Iceclaw's voice startled him and made every gray hair on his body stand on end.
"Oh no!" He whispered, lowering his head and shoulders in a wary position. Stormpaw was half frightened of Iceclaw. The senior Warrior was very harsh and to-the-point when need be, and he usually was that way with the apprentice. Not to say Stormpaw didn't feel he deserved some of it, but still, he would've preferred someone else finding him. Even Whitecrest would've been better!!!
"She is starving! I couldn't help but offer he some food... and she doesn't know how to hunt..." Stormpaw explained but trailed off. It was useless to talk now. He'd be better off waiting and pleading with Taintedstar.
Stormpaw rose to his large paws, ready to follow the larger tom. He looked back at the stranger with defeat in his blue eyes. Hopefully she wouldn't put up a fight with Iceclaw, because Stormpaw wouldn't put it past the sandy coloured tom to pick her up by the scruff and carry her to Taintedstar. She was small and feeble looking enough... it probably would be no task at all for Iceclaw.

"Stormpaw....quite an odd name." Fyora meowed, nodding. "I'm Fyora." The she-cat had barly spoken before the warrior came. Jumping back in fright, she let out a low growl. The tom looked more experienced in fighting, big and tough looking. Fyora stood no chance, and stopped letting the low sound come from her.
"Why should I come with you?" Fyora asked, sitting down stubbornly. "I have as much right to be on this land as you do. It doesn't have your name written all over it, does it? I think not. And who is this Taintedstar you talk so foundly about. Oh, and what do you mean by rouge? If you're talking about me, I'm a stray."
Fyora shot a glance into Stormpaw's eyes, clearly seeing defeat. She was not giving up, she would not go, and she was going to put up some sort of fight. Her amber eyes were full of rage as she gave a cold glare to Iceclaw. She looked at the two toms once more, and made her choice. "I'm not going with you. I'll kick, I'll scratch, I'll do anything I need to do to get out of any force you will put on my. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to get some sleep." The loner slipped back into the nestle of bushes.

Fury grew in Iceclaw as he growled. Oh how he hated hot headed kits. "You WILL come with me unless you have some sort of death wish. Sadly, I can't do that as it is against the warrior code, so you are lucky... this time." He shot hot hatred at the tiny cat, she wanted a fight, he would gladly give her one. "As for this 'right to be on this land'... you do not. This is the territory of Oceanclan and you are trespassing! And because of that I have every right to attack you and make you leave!"
Iceclaw trembled with anger, if he didn't have any self control he would have ripped Fyora apart, but he was not going to. "Taintedstar is the leader of our clan, and she would want to speak with you. So you, rouge, are going to come with me even if I have to drag you there! Which, I plan on doing since you are a stubborn piece of crow food."
He growled once more before picking Fyora by the scruff of her neck ignoring her protests. Iceclaw had even forgotten the Stormpaw was there until he saw him a short ways off. He shot the apprentice a cold stare and then headed back to camp, with the rouge in his jaws.

Stormpaw looked at the she-cat. Fyora, she said her name was? What an interesting name! His blue eyes were bright with happiness that he had a new friend but his mind was clouded with worry at the same time. Iceclaw was growing angry and the scrawny she-cat didn't understand how important it was to listen to a Warrior. She must not be from around here...
"Hey!" He called to the she-cat as she curled up to go to sleep. "You gotta go see Taintedstar... she's nice, don't worry." Stormpaw huffed shortly after. She didn't seem to be listening. She fell asleep fast!!!
Stormpaw just watched as Iceclaw grew tired of the young she-cat's defiance and pick her up in his jaws. He lowered his head at the older cats harsh gaze, but followed at a spirited pace. It took more than Iceclaw to get Stormpaw's good natured personality completely down.
