Hunting

Graypatch smiled. "I didn't assume you were an evil loner. You don't seem capable of being evil, you look too nice." He was half-joking, trying to make the she-cat feel less nervous.

"I don't exactly understand your situation... maybe we should go see Rainstar and see what she has to say?" Graypatch looked at Snowpaw, wondering if he would follow as well. The older tom had been looking forward to hunting but this was more important in a way. Or maybe Graypatch's curiosity was getting the best of him.

<sub>"Sure," Goldkit said eagerly. She was, oddly, ready to do anything to become a part of Clan life. Again? She couldn't say, but warm memories of a group, no matter how small her family was, were too alluring.

Standing up and shaking out her golden pelt, she purred. if she got to be a part of a real family again, it would be much better than hunting for herself and living alone. She had felt less nervous after the older cat's half-jests. She trotted over to where he stood, ready to follow him.</sub>

The strong winds made Crystalpool's silver fur ripple along her body. She had just left camp to go hunting, and, on her way, remembered that Snowpaw should be out hunting. She thought about meeting up with him. The poor apprentice had no mentor, and it made her feel bad. Crystalpool guessed she'd would've been able to cope with having no mentor, since she likes to be alone a lot. But no apprentice should suffer not having a mentor.
Crystalpool caught Snowpaw's scent, and she padded towards it. Also, on her way, she caught Graypatch's scent as well. She thought about turning back, but she knew she needed to spend more time with her Clan mates, so she kept going. She turned a corner and froze. Her eyes widened at the sight of the little gold she-cat. Crystalpool's crystal blue eyes darted to Graypatch. "What...what is this?" she asked. Her voice was calm, but worried. What was Graypatch doing? She stared into him, and glanced at Snowpaw here and there.

Snowpaw just watched the scene with interest and stared at Goldkit. A ripple of fury came though him, but it settled as he heard her voice filled with fear.

"We should take her to Rainstar, we could use another apprentice," Snowpaw said. Then he scented Crystalpool and turned towards her as she asked her question. "just a loner that seems to have a Clan name," he replied to her.

Graypatch turned to look at Crystalpool. He wondered why all these cats were popping up all of a sudden! He chuckled to himself.

"Snowpaw pretty much summed it up. I don't understand how she got a Clan name, but we'll just bring her to Rainstar..." He looked to the younger she-cat. "I'm sure Rainstar will figure out something."

"If she is in a good mood," Snowpaw muttered. "She sounded a bit distressed today before I left to hunt."

Crystalpool looked at Snowpaw, then at Graypatch. "Yes, yes," she said after a moments hesitation. "We should take her to Rainstar." Crystalpool then looked at Goldkit. How sweet and innocent she looked. It was a pity she didn't have a Clan yet.
Crystalpool took a step towards the little she-cat. "I'm Crystalpool." she said in a clam voice. The little cat looked like she just needed someone to love her.

"And I'm Snowpaw! I'm happy to meet you Goldkit," he said in a joyful tone.

[Bluestar]

Frosteye had just left camp to hunt.She knew she would be joining the elders soon,and she wanted to have a good hunt before she finally joined the elders.She heard some conversation,and followed the source of the noise until it led her to some other MountainClan cats.

Crystalpool was slightly startled by Snowpaw. She glanced at him. Must he be so loud? she thought, but then realized he was just excited. Crystalpool then turned back to Goldkit.

_{Goldkit nodded, a little overwhelmed. "I'm Goldkit, like I had said before," She said a little nervously. She was about six moons old, and somewhere hidden in her memory she knew she was apprentice age. She had a deep inner knowledge of clans, and knew that Rainstar must be the leader of this Clan. She nodded again, and said, "I would love to meet Rainstar." Her tail twitched basically on its own.}

Frosteye looked in confusion.She walked over to Crystalpool,and asked "Who is this?" , referring to Goldkit.

Crystalpool smiled. "I know Rainstar will be happy to meet you too, Gold kit." Crystalpool examined the little she-cat. She looked about apprentice age, and Crystalpool wondered why she was 'Goldkit' and now 'Goldpaw.'
Crystalpool was startled by Frosteye. "This is Goldkit...Graypatch found her." Crystalpool looked at Frosteye, then looked away. This was probably the most talking she'd done in a while. Crystalpool didn't like talking. She really had no idea why.

"She's not from MountainClan,is she?" Frosteye asked.Frosteye's memory was getting from bad to worse,so she frequently forgot things that she was supposed to do.

"No she isn't Frosteye. She is a loner. A young one at that like me," Snowpaw said.
