Mornin' World!

[Honorable Riri]

Skyheart padded out of the warriors' den, squinting in the early morning light. She stretched out her hind legs, her forelegs, and finally her back. Everything felt rejuvinated and she felt empowered! Now, breakfast was on the mind. Skyheart had to hunt for the Clan... but with whom? She always had a hunting buddy. Who was the unlucky sap this morning?[/color]

[Sable]

"Good morning, Skyheart!"

As was customary for him, Ringtail greeted the new day and his fellow warrior by rocketing out of the den at an astonishing speed and calling out a salutation to any cat within fifty fox lengths. He leaped high into the air, sailed over Skyheart's head, and landed squarely in front of her. He pivoted to face the she-cat and affectionately touched his nose to hers. "It's a fine morning for hunting. Aren't you coming today?" His paws danced around her, unable to keep still. "Bet I'll catch something before you!"

[Lunar]

"Well, Ringtail's up." Blackwish yawned as he saw the tabby warrior rocket out of the den in a blur of black and brown. The black tom got up and stretched looking out of the den to bright morning sun that was coming in through IslandClan camp. "As is Skyheart." He confirmed to himself as he looked over and saw the she-cat's empty nest. 'Time to get up then.' He thought and walked out of his nest and out into the center of the camp to see Ringtail prancing around Skyheart before going hunting.

"Good morning Ringtail, Skyheart." He greeted the two warriors warmly though he yawned again sleepily.

Skyheart flattened herself as Ringtail leaped over her but then stood up, shaking herself free of moss. "Mornin', Blackwish! Mornin', Ringtail!" Skyheart purred, a rumble in her throat giving away her happiness. "I bet you won't catch something before me, Ringtail! You know, I'm awesome at catching land animals."

Skyheart never told anyone she couldn't catch birds...[/color]

[Bluestar]

Stretching as she padded out of the medicine cat's den,Cherryleaf spotted Skyheart,Ringtail and Blackwish in the clearing."Good morning Skyheart,Ringtail,Blackwish.Are you all going hunting?" Cherryleaf mewed as she padded towards them.

[Honorable Riri]

Skyheart purred. "Well, of course! We're going hunting for the pure sport!" Skyheart mewed. She shook her body free of the stray moss and purred.

[Lunar]

"Remember to hunt for the clan first Skyheart." Blackwish purred as his dark tail waved about contently. "Is there anything we can get you while we're out Cherryleaf? Are you low on any herbs?" He asked the medicine cat curiously.

[Bluestar]

"I've stocked up on most herbs,although it would be good if you could bring back any useful herbs like marigold, if you happen to find any." Cherryleaf mewed cheerfully,while recalling her stock of herbs back in her den.

[Lunar]

"I'll bring you back some if I see any." Blackwish promised her as he took a moment to look around the camp. "Have any of the apprentices gotten up yet?" He asked the others as he flicked his tail over to the apprentices' den.

[Bluestar]

"Thanks." Cherryleaf meowed gratefully."I'm not too sure about the other apprentices,but I think Nightpaw is awake." she answered,just as Nightpaw came padding towards them.

Stepping out of the apprentices' den,Nightpaw spotted his sister with Blackwish,Skyheart and Ringtail. Padding forward eagerly to where the warriors were,Nightpaw dipped his head respectfully and mewed a greeting to them. With a good night's rest,Nightpaw was energised,and he hoped he would be able to go on a hunting patrol.

((Is there anyone who could be Nightpaw's mentor? ))

((Blackwish could be Nightpaw's mentor.))

"Good morning Nightpaw." Blackwish greeted the dark grey apprentice warmly with a curt nod. "You can join us on hunting patrol, and then we could do some battle training afterwards." He told Nightpaw as he began to run through fighting techniques he could teach today.

Nightpaw nodded eagerly at hearing his mentor's words.He couldn't wait to start his training session to practice his battle skills.He had been practicing some of the fighting techniques Blackwish had taught him and was hoping to be able to try them out in a training session.

[Lunar]

((No Problem.))

"Let's go." Blackwish gave out a quick yowl to the others and flicked his tail as he raced out of the camp. He looked over his shoulder for Nightpaw, making sure that his apprentice was keeping up.

[Bluestar]

Nightpaw meowed a quick goodbye to Cherryleaf as he sped after his mentor. He couldn't help feeling that this was going to be a great day!

[Honorable Riri]

Skyheart purred. "Don't worry, Blackwish. I always hunt for the Clan first." She winked at no one and ran out of the camp. "Come on Ringtail! Don't be a vole!" She skittered out of the camp and into the forest.
