Fawnelt felt her fur stand on end as she peered into the Tree cave. She wasn't sure why. It was only a tree. And she was only here to do a spot of investigation...she'd found herself wondering what was back in there that made the other animals stay away. Duskstar had always looked shifty when she brought up this idea. Curiosity was her only driving emotion these days...and she was going to find some things out.
Could there be a new herb that smelled unpleasant to other animals inside? This was her conclusion seeing as when she tasted the air all she got was the smell of the jungle.
But as Medicine Cat, she had to see if there WAS a new herb inside that could help...so without looking back she stepped within the tunnel that was the trunk of that ancient tree.
