Just sticking my head out and wondering if we have anyone who's going to be attempting to attack the challenge during November. And if you've never heard of National Novel Writing Month, it's a challenge to write a 50,000 word novella in 30 days, starting November, THIS COMING UP SATURDAY. So, warm up your fingers and break out the loads of caffeine and snacks needed to start november off and keep you going through those tough last couple of days that sneak up too quickly on most of us.

I started it last year but didn't have the heart to finish. ;_; Maybe I'll try again.

*shrug* I'm not going to do it, cause I hate rushed dead-lines, but I think I COULD do it. I wrote a 3000 word chapter in a day.

YAY Goldie! And yes, I did win last year, but I never finished my story. XD I think you're the person who introduced me to nano last year, so thank you and see ya Saturday! Please try again Sable, the more people we have the better. Well, I don't like deadlines either, and I had never written over 10,000 words in one story and I finished with a day to spare. So please try Shiningheart.

NaNo TODAY!! ^_^
I, of course, didn't have the determination to win last year like I did this year. My dad has a kickass NaNo story in the works, and I want to beat him with mine. Mine's about a woman by the name of Trina who finds out she can accidentally raise the dead, and slowly figures out she can see ghosts, which are just remnants of energy left behind after an emotional event, she's going to help solve murders with this. It's going to be fun to write, where I'm at right now she's accidentally raised the first one, his name is Alphonse Norrison. LOL.

How many words does it have to be?

50,000 by the end of it, but averaging about 1600 words per day will do it. Last year I only got 10,000 because I had too much going on at the time, but I'm absolutely blessed this year with a four day weekend start in which to get as much done as possible. XD

Oh, you don't submit it to anywhere as a contest or anything lol. Except maybe the site for it to verify and then give you a little pixel banner that says you did it. XD
But YAY! ^_^

No, it's a personal accomplishment o.O lol and you can get it published eventually too, if a publisher likes your work.

And they also have a way you can go get your book published if you reach 50,000 words.
