Tigereye practically flew across the twoleg-made bridge that led to his home island. How any cat could've crossed the path without being caught by patrol was beyond him. And they apparantly stole a kit as well! It was unbelieveable, but Tigereye would help get to the bottom of it. And if he could find this crafty, sneaky perpetrator...
The Deputy's eyes were blazing even in the dark. He ran with all his might until he was at the heart of the island, right within the camp. He yowled, not caring if he woke any Clan cats up. They would understand the importance of being awake once they figured out something serious was about them.

After Marblekit made sure Dawnstorm was safely in Leafsongs den, she ran out when she heard that the group had come back from the gathering. "Tigereye! It's Fogkit, a cat took him, and momma isn't doing to well." Marblekit blurted out to him, half straining her words. [/size] |

As he ran into camp he heard the news. "What?! Some cat stole Fogkit? Why?" his eyes shown with fear and panic. "Marblekit what's wrong with Dawnstorm?" he said slowing down the pace of his words. His black pelt bristled with anger as the words soaked deeper into his conscious. 'Stealing a kit is a horrible crime!' he thought slowly unsheathing his claws.

"Tigereye!" Snowstorm called as she ran towards Tigereye.When she reached Tigereye,she was already panting,and she said "I know where Fogkit is!The kits from the other clans are there too!"

Jadestar hurried through the forest, not quite as quickly as Tigereye, but practically flinging herself across the landscape. Pnting, she skidded to a halt in the clearing, just after the conversation had started. She looked from cat to cat, and tried to calm her thudding heart. "If you know where they are," Jadestar said to Snowstorm, "Then we must leave immediately."
Bounding to the Highrock, Jadestar scaled it quickly and turned to the camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock," She meowed loudly. Awaiting the Clan to assemble, Jadestar sat patiently.

Marblekit hesitated at the question Tigereye asked. "I-I'm not sure when it happened, but it didn't happen too long ago, at least I think so. I didn't see who took him, I was with momma." She looked around for the medicine cat, and didn't see her. "Where is Leafsong? I think momma needs her." The kit then left to go back to the den.
Dawnstorm had been laying inside Leafsongs den when she heard the announcement Jadestar made for all cats to go out there. Marblekit had been protesting for her to stay put, but she acted like she didn't hear the kit. Dawnstorm walked out and sat close to the leader, she stared at the leader with slightly empty eyes. Tigereye walked over stand beneath the leader, bright eyes watching as the Island cats gathered under Jadestar's command. He stood tall and steady as he thought about the happenings that ended up ruining the Gathering. He would have sighed, but he never let any weariness or distress show. He was known for being a rockhard Deputy who could handle anything and everything for the sake of his Clan, and he wouldn't stop now just because this DarkClan was meddling with their kits.
Tigereye looked to Dawnstorm, surpressing a frown at the sight of the queen's pained face. The kidnapping of one's kit was something he could never understand and he could only imagine her pain, but the look of her eyes allowed him some insight on how she must feel at this point. It disgusted him that someone had stolen a kit, and he would be so happy to find whoever had done so and teach them a lesson. [/size] |

Jadestar bowed her head momentarily, concentrating her thoughts, before staring out at the gathering cats with the startling green eyes that gave her her name. "It is time to retrieve what we have lost," She yowled. "A kit has been stolen from us, and we must find him at all costs. One who would steal a kit is one who is an endangerment to the whole of Seraphmoon. We cannot allow this to go on. From what Midnight told us, they have stolen at least one kit from each Clan. He may well know who the perpetrators are, but we cannot be sure..."
A yowl of fury cut off her somber words as Midnight pounded into the clearing. The jet tom glanced around, fury apparent in his ice-blue eyes. "I have come to lead you to the stealers, if you would so allow me to, Jadestar," Midnight said, bowing his head in respect. "I apologize for the outburst, but the situation was already grave and is escalating to dire. Dawn has arrived, and so if we are to leave, we must set out immediately."
The black leader thought for a moment before replying, "Yes, we should. Tigereye, would you please gather Sphinxorb, Duskclaw, and your choice of two other warriors? Blackpaw and Whitepaw as well." She turned to Midnight. "We must begin this war as soon as we can."

Tigereye nodded as he listened to the orders his leader gave him, then he silently rose and slunk off to gather the Warriors and apprentices. Thank StarClan Midnight had shown up and was going to lead them... as wary as Tigereye was of cats he was not familiar with, it would be much better to follow this tom than searching for this DarkClan group blindly on their own. Jadestar stared out into the forest, alert and aware that at any time the intruders could launch a full-scale attack. While she waited for the patrol, she turned to Midnight. "So... what after this?" The jet tom knew she meant about him staying. Maybe she was a bit sad thinking about him leaving. He bowed his head. "I can't stay in one place forever. Wandering is my destiny and by StarClan's light I shall wander. I'm sorry." The black leader nodded a little, sad, but still, she knew how impossible it would be for him to stay. Her own mother didn't stay... She pushed the memory away.

Jadestar was quiet for a few moments before replying. "Good idea; only you and Midnight know where their camp is." She stood again, still on the Highrock. Voice echoing arund the clearing, she said, "I do not mean to rush you, but would all cats selected by Tigereye and I please hustle? We haven't much time."
