Silver followed Scar, a little slower, making sure OceanClan kept up; she didn't distrust them, but they couldn't afford to lose support of the Clan.
Seapaw watched them leave. She blinked somberly. She wanted to be ready when, if, injured cats came back from the battle. Turning to Goldleaf, she sighed. "I hate this so much. I wish battles never happened." She felt stupid after saying it; she knew she sounded naiive, but she meant what she said.

Goldleaf nodded in reply to Taintedstar, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of her muzzle. Then, she twitched her whiskers as her ears flicked towards the newly arrived Sunpaw.
“Hush now, young one. All will be made clear soon enough…” She managed to mutter back, her white tail-tip swishing. Then, Greypatch was beside her, and Goldleaf hesitated as she listened to him, her eyes ever locked on the DarkClan cats. Just their mere presence, got her blood pumping and caused the hairs on the back of her skull to prickle…
“Yes. I agree.” The golden tabby said to Greypatch, her voice holding a small part of her worry in it. She sighed, and then… another was speaking to her. Goldleaf turned to find Seapaw there, and wound her tail around herself, gently smiling once more. “War and battle are very troubling things, lass. Indeed, that is true. Yet, it is necessary for our kind. If we didn’t fight for certain things in Life, would we not lose more in the long run?“ Her wizened eyes seemed to flicker strangely, and she fell silent once more, as if crawling back into her own mind to ponder…

Seapaw blinked appreciatively at Goldleaf. The eldress had done her a favor by sharing her wisdom with the apprentice. She nodded. "But yet, if there were no strife, there would be no strength to be gained from it." She nodded in thought.

Sunpaw nodded and felt her tail twitch from excitement. They were going to attack Darkclan. She remembered Dawnheart telling her about it when she was younger but since now it had onl been a story to scare kits. Sunpaw smiled and picked up the prey she had just dropped and purred in anticipation. "Uf I um guing den I'll ned ene..." Sunpaw's muffled words were interrupted by a sharp nip on her flank. She jumped, once more dropping the prey she had caught and turned to growl at her attacker but it immediately ceased as she recognized the bristling form of her mother " You aren't going anywhere!" she growled. Sunpaw's hackles bristled and she was just about to start back but Dawnheart got there first. "I've lost my mate and my trust, I don't want to lose what's left" she wailed. Sunpaw shook her head at her mother's insecurity and answered. "I'm an apprentice not a kit." Dawnheart dropped her head in defeat and walked towards the gathering party leaving Sunpaw to finish her food hurriedly.

Seapaw stared off into the distant horizon. Somewhere, somehow, the kits were there, and they were still alive. She was sure of at least that. What cat had the indecency to kill helpless kits after they've stolen them? No, it'd be a better move to simply raise them as their own. But she felt nothing but bitter sympathy and malice for cats that had been so driven for their own cause that they would steal kits.

Taintedstar was already pelting off when Whitecrest finally began to follow. Stormpaw bounded after him, tail wagging as if this were a game of chase. Ashtail watched her brother and apprentice run off together and looked behind her to examine the cats who were remaining behind. She secretly wished she could stay behind and guard camp, but she just had to accompany Stormpaw... Ashtail closed her eyes briefly, the thoughts she experienced at some points returning... thoughts that made her wonder if being a Warrior was really for her.
The she-cat shook her head then hurried to follow her Clan who were far ahead of her. She couldn't let her Clan down... she couldn't let Stormpaw down either. She had to be a good mentor to him; with him having no known parents, he really needed her guidance at all times.

(Im so slack, please... continue to beat me senceless. 83 and I forgot that I had Iceclaw xD))
Whitefire just sat and watched as the two strange cats spoke. She didn't want to say anything, all she wanted to do was listen. Whitefire sighed deeply when they were going to take many warriors out of camp to follow these Darkclan cats to take their kit back. Finally Whitefire got up and bounded after Taintedstar. "I'm going with you. If its as far as I think, you'll need help with healing if a battle happens. Its a long way back to camp." Then she looked back at Seapaw. "Stay here, watch the camp."
Iceclaw, who arrogantly glared at the two Darkclan cats the whole time from a distance, growled to himself when he was told he had to go chasing after some cats who apparently had the kit. To him, it was just another annoying bundle of fur, and it didn't matter to him, but he was a loyal fighter, and he had to put his loyalty over his feelings. Iceclaw only grumbled a few times, then set a hard look that could turn the brightest cat into a heap of scared fur. He followed the leader without saying a word.

Sunpaw jumped across the clearing and vanished into the bracken leaving behind her shocked mother. Dawnheart stared around dumbly and sat down in defeat. " No one wants me, Dawnheart has never been wanted, Dawnheart causes trouble, her mate died because of her, she's no good to the party." Dawnheart looked down.

OOc: don't worry, Sunpaw will play along;)
Sunpaw turned in surprise and soon found herself sprawled across a tree root with plenty of sand in her mouth. "YEEARCH!!!" Sunpaw spat out the mouthful of sand and straightened herself up quickly, her eyes shining with embarrassment and fear. " Sorry, it was just that... I couldn't help myself really..." Sunpaw looked up desperately. " Stormkit was one of my only links to my childhood. With all due respect, I really hope to be involved in getting her back to her rightful home." Sunpaw paused once more as Dawnheart stood after her strange mutterings and came to sit next to Cloudeyes. "Let her go, she won't be stopped." For a second, Dawnheart's eyes glimmered with laughter but were quickly replaced with the stony glare from before. " Besides, I need to stay back here and guard the camp, so many warriors have gone already."

Sunpaw cocked her head to the side and nodded towards Cloudeyes, her determination returning. "Thanks Cloudeyes, good luck with guarding the camp!" With those words, Sunpaw rushed away after the distant party of cats. Dawnheart smiled and sat down next to the warriors den and groomed her fur as if relieved the tension of being near her daughter had dissipated. " There aren't many of us here, we should work out some kind of routine for who goes on patrol and who guards the camp." Dawnheart looked at the dusty tom and nodded towards him " You got any ideas?"

Dawnheart shrugged. "I guess we could sort it out later but we have no idea when they will return. I'm guessin' a few days but we can sort out that stuff later." Dawnheart yawned and sat down, looking over the past few day's happenings

Dawnheart wandered across the camp aimlessly and soon found herself just outside of it. Dawnheart sighed and felt a sudden peace come over her. Natural instinct flared into life and she suddenly realized how much she wanted to quench her thirst. She stood and looked around her surroundings to find a small puddle from the latest rains. She drank it eagerly and walked back to camp to find the tom sitting down. She sat down beside him and felt a jolt of surprise as the world shook around her. She stood, and waddled across the camp, delirious. "It's an earthquake! Get down! Starclan has abandoned us!!" Dawnheart fell onto the floor, cowering in fright.

Dawnheart spat and shivered before hearing Cloudeyes voice although it was unusually hazy and distant. She lay on the floor and squeezed her eyes shut till the trembling sensation vanished. Dawnheart had heard many tales of this type of thing before and as she lifted her head in surprise she screwed her eyes together, frowning. "Was that it?" she stood and started to groom herself, almost annoyed by how short and boring it was.

"oh..." Dawnheart shrugged and shook her head before looking at her pelt in disgust. " I tell you what, it may be short but it is slightly too dirty for my taste." Dawnheart licked her pelt vigourously and thought about her new found friend before her eyes clouded over with realization. Her first friend since Sunpaw had been made into an apprentice and her mate had been banished and killed.
