Silver followed Scar quickly, eyes on her paws in front of her. She turned her head to watch the pinkish glow of the dawn sun rising on the horizon. The healer almost cried with the thought of what may happen, but banished the thoughts. She'd die defending those kits. A sleek blue-gray figure with sparkling paws sat on a rock and gazed at her daughter, turning and disappearing into fading starlight.

Taintedstar turned her head and froze on the spot, the scent of strange cats hitting her nose. She inhaled deeply and narrowed her eyes inquisitively. What was she smelling?
"That is fine, Whitefire." Taintedstar finally said. If this Midnight had left with another Clan, then they would deal without him. The leader was not interested in running to another Clan's territory to request the help of a loner. She didn't want to make her Clan look so pitiful and needy.
The scent came to her again and she swiveled her head around. Surely she wasn't the only one catching the scent on the faint morning breeze?

Scar stopped near the camp entrance and noticed Silver behind her, but didn't say anything. Slowly she let out a sigh and entered the camp clearing. It was there she saw Taintedstar for the first time up close, but she knew the she-cat from spying on the camp before. "If there is anything you want to say do it now, but we have no time for fights if you want your kit back," Scar said. She didn't see her brother, but she knew that he would be okay.

Silver was about to say something but was silent when she saw Taintedstar. She just stared, speechless for a second, unsure of herself. "We... have come to help... we know where the kits are." She finished finally, calming down a bit.
Seapaw scented an odd smell and trotted over to Taintedstar. Glancing at the DarkClan cats, she didn't say anything.

Taintedstar faced her Clan, but turned as she realized she wasn't imagining the smell. As she fully turned around, she spotted two cats that the smell was emitting from. The smell was foreign. She shriveled her nose; it was almost as if their scent was tainted with darkness, it stung her so.
As the one spoke, Taintedstar quirked a brow questioningly and a half-snarl was on her face, "The kit? You know where?" She asked, but it was obvious she didn't entirely believe them. "I am making the assumption you're both of that 'DarkClan' fuss? Why do you come back to our territory after stealing one of our own and then try to tell me you'll help us find it?" The leader hissed. She hardly trusted cats from other Clans, so it would be hard for cats of darkness to get her trust.
Sounds like a trap. She hissed in her mind. She eyed the older she-cat and narrowed her eyes. She looked vaguely familiar.

"Decide if you believe me or not. My name is Scar if you must know and yes I am of DarkClan for now. I only did what I had to do to fool that mangy fleabag leader of ours. You decided Taintedstar, but the more time you waste the further those kits are lost. Muted will be moving the camp soon and you will need a guide to show you where to go," Scar said with a lint in her eyes as if she was making both a threat and a offer.
Greypatch heard noises from outside and slowly opened his eyes. He gave himself a stretch and noticed that his wounds were already healing fast. He padded out of the den only to froze as he yet again saw his sister before him facing his leader. "Sister!" he shouted.

Taintedstar narrowed her eyes as she intently listened to Scar speak. She seemed to sound serious enough, but the calico she-cat still didn't like what was going on. These particular DarkClan cats were going against their Leader's ruling?
Before Taintedstar could respond she heard Greypatch shout out to the she-cat who had just spoken and it hit the leader like a rock. That was Greypatch's sister... no wonder she looked slightly familiar.
"So this is your thought-to-be-dead sister?" Taintedstar said softly. For some reason, knowing this cat was a former member of OceanClan made her open her mind a little more. Perhaps there was a hint of goodness deep in this older she-cat's heart that remained from being a part of a true Clan long ago... or maybe Taintedstar was just dreaming up nonsense that wasn't possible.
"I will allow you to lead our Clan to where the stolen kits are." Taintedstar announced finally. Whatever DarkClan was up to, whatever their personal problems or personal affairs, Taintedstar was ready to become a part of it. It was DarkClan's own doing, regardless, for stealing one of their kits. The leader turned to face her Clan, "I want the majority of our Warriors and apprentices to come with me. The rest must stay and guard the camp." She ordered sternly, her long-haired tail flicking impatiently as she spoke.

Silver nodded. "I am the healer for my Clan, I'm the closest thing to a medicine cat it gets. And... I believe in StarClan." She glanced at Scar, wondering if this would make her an enemy to Scar's cause. She had seen her mother with her own two eyes, many times, watching over her. She knew that Silverpelt meant something, and even she had the same instinctive knowledge of Clans that came with her birth. She even remembered her sister a little but not much. She was much younger than anyone guessed, and her hard exterior disguised a ten-moon-old apprentice-aged cat. But she was tougher than she looked, and must fully be so to have had the title of DarkClan's healer. "By this I mean I wouldn't lie, on my honor, my father's, sister's, godfather's, and StarClan-residing mother." Courage seemed to leap into her heart like a rabbit.

Scar casted a grateful glance at Silver before giving a nod to Taintedstar. "Whenever you are ready to leave then," she said. She gave a lance at her brother, she let out a silent sigh that he was okay. But she made no moment towards him. Taintedstar still could order the Clan to attack her.
Greypatch wanted to o towards his sister, but he knew it wouldn't be good. At least she was helping to get the kits back. I knew that in the end Blackstar was wrong for banishing her. She would have made a great warrior.

Goldleaf watched the scene unfold in silence, listening with ears that were still sharp, though slightly dulled with age. Her mind, wisdom ticking through it, twirled the voices and words of each speaker around and around, trying to decipher every code--every possible hidden meaning that might mean further disastor for her clan. Then, Goldleaf glanced coldly at the DarkClan arrivals, and her tail swished behind her, her ears flattening just enough to show her immense displeasure. Her eyes quickly found Taintedstar once more. "I cannot see lies in this one," She said honestly, glancing towards Silver pointedly, "However, I ask, do this old bag of bones one small thing--be careful, my leader." She gave a small bow of her head, and then continued. "If it pleases you, I shall be one of those to stay behind and watch over our territory. Keep the remaining ruffians in line--that sort of thing." Goldleaf said with a telltale glimmer in her eye. Yet, she kept her face serious otherwise. She knew her Clan could very well be walking into a trap. And if that was so... Oh StarClan, help them...!((Thank you ))

Sunpaw burst into the oceanclan camp hurriedly, shouting "What's happen... MOUSEDUNG!" she dropped the prey from her mouth in shock and looked at the gathering of cats and their serious manner. " What are they doing here?" she murmered to Goldleaf, her words seeming to shoot fire and hostility. Almost as soon as Sunpaw had finished her sentence, Dawnheart walked in. Her tail drooped low and she seemed to not notice the Darkclan arrivals for she walked straight to the fresh kill pile and then to the warriors den. Sunpaw shot her mother a sorry glance and returned to staring at the intruders.

Taintedstar nodded at Goldleaf after listening to what she had to say and offered to stay at camp, "Thank you." It was short and to the point, but sincere.
Taintedstar suddenly yowled, "Those who wish to accompany me to strike down DarkClan, prepare yourselves now. We have guides who are going to take us there but we must be hasty. Who knows what DarkClan is doing..."
The calico leader leapt from her sandy rock, tail twitching. She was ready to leave right away. She looked to Scar and Silver. "Show us the way." She said simply; it was not an order, but it was urgent sounding nonetheless.

((I just remembered I have more characters in OceanClan xD)) Whitecrest finally rose to all four paws and walked over to Wetpaw, the slightest of smiles on his white mouth. "Ready to go?" He asked, his black tipped tail flicking. He was itching to get this done and over with so everything could go back to normal. Who did this DarkClan think they were...
Stormpaw bounded up, Ashtail close behind. The large, gray apprentice nearly tumbled into Wetpaw. "Oooof!" he exclaimed as he tripped over his own paws, falling beside the other apprentice. Recovering quickly, he jumped up and kneaded the ground impatiently. "This is going to be great! We'll show the big meanies what we're made of!!!" Stormpaw had never been a part of anything as serious as this so it excited the young tom. He really didn't know better... Ashtail quietly came up to the other cats and watched her apprentice with slightly saddened eyes. He had no clue what a real battle was like and she feared he'd be very dissapointed once he realized it wasn't fun at all.

Greypatch watched his sister some more as she waited for the OceanClan warriors to gather to leave. He padded close to Goldleaf as they got ready. “This will be a tough mission for the younger ones,” he said.
Scar nodded at Taintedstar and waited a few moments more as she watched the warriors assemble. Speed would be the key here since they had lingered long enough. The sun was rising fast and there was not much time left. She rushed out of the clearing with a burst of speed as she raced towards Four Rocks to gather with the other Clans.
