Phoenix twitched an ear in agreement. She glanced over to the other, mostly white, cat, who appeared to be waking from her sleep. Phoenix blinked slowly, studying the she-cat for a moment.

Kia felt Pheonix's breif scrutiny and then glared back with green eyes. Usually she would've growled at a stranger, but after the short time with DarkClan, the she-cat became somewhat use to being around other cats. It didn't mean she enjoyed being around strange smelling cats, but she was better at tolerating them. She wondered who these two were, if they were friends of her father...

Keiogo looked to Kia. "Don't worry Kia, these are friends in a way." He assured his daugher. He imagined she must be wary.

_{"I am Ghost, and this is Phoenix," The small cat said to Kia. He nodded slowly. "We're going to find a Clan, hopefully a medicine cat as well."}

"Hmm." Keiogo murmured quietly. He closed his eyes for a moment and thought about what Ghost had said. He disliked Clans but maybe, just maybe, they could help himself and Kia truly regain their health. Then they could be on their way again... but he hated to look like he was begging for assistance.

"I usually steer clear of Clans..." Keiogo admitted, "But we will go with."

Kia looked at her father with questioning eyes. Great, another Clan... would this one be like DarkClan? What was Keiogo thinking?

_{"Great!" Ghost meowed excitedly. His whiskers twitched as he began to walk. The young tom wanted to start running, but he wouldn't abandon Phoenix. Her paw appeared badly injured and he didn't want to make it worse. His tail twitched in apprehension. He couldn't wait to finally see a real Clan!}

Keiogo rose and motioned for Kia to do the same. Reluctantly, the young she-cat stood on all fours. Her eyes were suspiciously glued to the other two cats as she remained behind her father.

Kieogo patiently waited. The she-cat seemed to be injured and like Ghost, he didn't want to rush her. It wouldn't be wise. "Have you ever met Clan cats before?" Keiogo asked curiously.

Raising her muzzle, Phoenix picked up the pace so that she was slightly ahead of Ghost, tail held high. She sensed their pity and was seething with annoyance. She twitched an ear at Keiogo's question. "No. Neither Ghost nor I have. Have you?" She twisted her head over her shoulder to glance at the black-and-white tom.
