ooc. Yay for cruddy posts no?
Gentle pawsteps where placed one after the other uppon the muddy bank of the pond, leaving the slightest imprents possible. It was not only the fact that the creature that stood upon the mud was walking with carefully placed feet, but also the fact that their weight was nearly less than a large skipping stone, and the fact that her paws where smaller than a silver doller. So with her carefully placed, light, small, and gentle pawsteps, the kit wandered her way around the pond. Why she was walking around the pond was a mysterie not even she could answer, but maby the frogs where the answer to that question. As the kitten walked along the bank, her stunning green-blue eyes swept the ground infront of her, looking from the reeds of the higher bank, and into the merky shallow waters where the eye stalks of the small slimy creaturs could be seen.
As if suddenly intreeged, the kitten stopped, turning to face the water, her one black paw, and one white, gently touching the waters edge. As her paws touched the water, even so slightly, ripples floded out across the lake serface. Not violently, but in gentle waves. As the waves came twords them, the eye stulks dissapeared beneath the water with a slight 'thlup'. Ears forwards, the kittens nose wiggled slightly, her tail lashing from side to side as she leaned further forwards, excited as once again the frogeyes appeared above the water. Oppening her mouth, the kitten chattered at the frogs curiously, and excitedly, her tail now wagging like a dogs. Yet, in her excitement, the kitten forgot about how slippery the muddy banks where.
With all her wieght ballanced onto her front feet, the kittens paws sunk forwards further into the pond. Realising that the water was now high as her paws, the kitten withdrew slightly, yet as she did so, her back paw lost its footing. With a surprised meow, the kitten fell onto her side, before rolling into the shallows, upsetting the frogs, causing them to dive into the deeper part of the lake. Sitting up, the kitten spat the pond water from her mouth, and sneezed it from her noze, before standing and shaking vigerously to rid herself as best she could of the water, and of the lilypad that had taken up residence on her head. Once done, she marched out of the pond, excitement now replaced by a fowl mood. Reaching the muddy bank, she shook off again, before sitting, and comencing to licking herself dry. As she was doing so, she heard a russling in the reeds. Still used to being a loner, she stood, wet fur bristling as best it could, eyes narrowing, awaiting the intruder to show themselves.
