Sunrise killed bird after bird untill she had a pile of about seven. Sunrise leaped down from the tree," I think the clan will have plenty now." she said to Talonclaw.

"Well done." Talonclaw meowed to Sunrise.Then,spotting a small group of mice,he whispered to Sunrise,"You see the group of mice there?Could you chase them from the other direction?I'll catch them when the run towards me."

"Okay." she wispered back, then she charged at the mice leading them right to Talonclaw.

When the mice rushed towards him,Talonclaw pounced on them.Some mice ran away,and Talonclaw swiped at them,leaving only two mice fleeing.
Talonclaw gathered the mice,and asked Sunrise "Would you like to go back to camp now?"

While walking back to the camp,Talonclaw stepped on a thorn hidden in a patch of grass.Talonclaw immediately lifted his paw,and saw a sharp thorn in it.

Sunrise saw the thorn and dropped the birds, "Are you alright?" she asked rushing over to see his paw.

"I'm alright." Talonclaw winced,trying to hide the pain.Then,he used his other paw to pull the thorn.With one last tug,the thorn dropped onto the ground.

Sunrise felt a pang a sadness, "Okay." she picked up the birds and ran back to camp, so she wouldn't have to walk with Talonclaw.
