(( *slaps Sable*Please say that Phenioxpaw is commimg back!))
Shellpaw looked at Duskhaze. " Well. I guess I should go after her before she gets lost." she meowed quietly. She ran towards the exit, wanting to comfort her friend, when Cherry leapped down in front of her. " And just where do you think you are going?" she growled. Cherry swipped at Shellpaw, aiming for her right ear. Hissing, Shellpaw leaped back, feeling the warm blood drip down the side of her face. " Leave me alone!!" Shellpaw yowled as she fell to the ground. ' Darn! Can't move...'
(( In case you can't tell, Cherry isn't comming back. Me no like her. lolz. Duskhaze can stop her, but don't kill her YET <_<))

Demon watched Phoenixpaw, and though it could never appear as though it was, there was a storm churning angrily in his chest. His russet and white coat shifted around his muscled frame as he turned to fix his stormy blue-gray-red eyes on her. "I never intended to lead a Clan, or at least not right away," He replied coolly, but he could feel the impulse increasing to reach forwards and tear out her throat. She turned suddenly and ran, so he watched, a bit grateful she had left first. He may have had to leave otherwise, and not only was it better that he didn't hurt her, he wanted to stay near his brother since he had not seen Duskhaze since they were kits.
Ghostpaw listened, and opened his mouth to reply to Phoenixpaw in agreement when she ran. Indignation filled the wiry little tom, and he readied himself to bounce after her, but Duskhaze stepped in front of him and gave the apprentice a look that told him not to.
The dark gray warrior kept his eyes on Ghostpaw to make sure he didn't go after Phoenixpaw, but he turned to tell Shellpaw not to go and saw Cherry bat her to the ground. He bolted to her side, ensuring she was alright, and saw the blood. Duskhaze felt the fur on his shoulders rise, and a loud snarl emitted from his throat, but Rocky stepped forwards. "Move," Duskhaze hissed, but Rocky turned to stare him in the eye. "No, and furthermore, I'm going to defend Cherry. She's my best friend." He gave a meaningfully emotional look back to her before returning his focus to Duskhaze. "If you attack her, I'll kill you," He warned, but Duskhaze ignored him and stepped forwards, still growling.
It was all over too quickly. Rocky lashed out, but in an instinctive move both Duskhaze and Demon lashed back at him. He didn't stand a chance. Duskhaze only intended to defend himself, perhaps inflict a wound on Rocky, but Demon was a little faster and had already angled his silver claws out to skewer Rocky. Duskhaze accidentally pushed Rocky onto Demon's waiting claws, and the result was blood and a yowl of pain. Demon drew his claws back out and licked them, and some of the red diminished out of his eyes. Duskhaze stood worriedly over Rocky. "Is he still alive?"

Shellpaw looked over at Rocky, wanting him to be alive but also gratefull that he wouldn't help her sister. "Rocky!!" Cherry yelled. She dashed over to him, ignoring Demon and Duskhaze. She nudged him gently. "Rocky! Get up!" she yelled with worry in her voice. " Please..."
Shellpaw, meanwhile, was trying to get to her feet, wanting to find Phoenixpaw. ' I've got to get up! I've got to....'

Rocky lay on the cold steel ground, bleeding quite a bit. He had been stabbed with Demon's claws right where his heart was, but it didn't seem fatal as long as he didn't bleed too much more. "Ch-Cherry," He rasped, and tried to stand. Duskhaze felt as though he had been the one who got hit. Guilt pierced through his heart like a barb, and dizziness didn't help at all. He had taken lives during the battle, but they were all rogues, none of them loyal to anyone or anything. But Rocky, he was different. He was loyal to Cherry, and he was kind and brave.
Ghostpaw emitted a yowl and raced to his brother's side, on the other side of Cherry. He looked at the wound, turned, and bolted across the warehouse to an opposite corner where cobwebs had built up. Returning to Rocky with a huge pawful of the webbing, he pressed it on the wound, and it soaked the blood quickly. Fortunately, it appeared that his wound was not fatal.
Ghostpaw's eyes flickered to Demon. He pulled his mouth back in an uncharacteristic snarl, and his leer was sharply intense. "Why did you do that, you evil foul beast?!" He unsheathed his claws and hissed. Duskhaze shot him a warning glance, but he paid no heed as his eyes rested on Demon. "You really deserve your name, you monster!" Demon calmly flexed his claws. "I know this. And though he has served me well, he acted foolishly. Fools deserve to die."
"Oh really? Then you should have been killed a long time ago!" The apprentice replied harshly. Duskhaze predicted what Ghostpaw was about to do and yowled a warning for the seal-pelted apprentice to restrain himself, but he couldn't hold in his anger. He sprang at Demon, but the tom moved too quickly and shifted aside in a blur. Ghostpaw landed lightly and turned, jumping at Demon again. "It is a foolish thing to do," Demon jeered, and Ghostpaw acted like he was going to try to tackle Demon again, but abruptly turned, and caught his claws on the tom's pelt.
Demon batted his paw away again, but Ghostpaw persisted. Finally, Duskhaze jumped in between them and pushed his brother away with one paw, knowing Ghostpaw was in more danger than Demon was. "Stop it, both of you! You're acting like mousebrained kits!" Both of them chimed in unison, "No, we're not!" Duskhaze hissed with impatience.
Meanwhile, Rocky had stopped bleeding and stood. "They're not our problem," He meowed to Cherry. "Let's leave."

Shellpaw watched the scene unfold in horror in front of her. "Stop it!!" she yelled. The apprentice stummbled to her feet, trying to get over to the fighting toms. She got about six steps then fell to the ground. " Duskhaze is right!! You shouldn't be fighting! Surly Starclan wouldn't want this!" she said, looking over to her sister.
She once again got to her feet, stumbling over to her sister and Rocky. Cherry got infront of Rocky in a protective stance, like she ment to fight her sister. " Wait." Shellpaw said quickly. Cherry looked sceptical, but lowered her gaurd. " I'm sorry." Shellpaw mewed. " I'm sorry we have been fighting. I'm sorry for what ever it is that made you angry. I never ment for us to hate eachother. I just wanted to bring you back with me. " Shellpaw tried to get closer to her sister. " And if you can forgive me, I still want you to come back with me. I'm sure Ghostpaw would like to have Rocky there too."
Cherry looked at her sister with sarrow in her golden eyes. "Shellpaw, I should be the sorry one. I thought that since you guys never found me that you didn't want me in the Clan anymore. " she mewed quietly. Cherry looked to Rocky. " And if Rocky will come. I will be happy to go back with you."

Rocky looked to Cherry, uncertainty in those blue eyes that all too well resembled those of Ghostpaw. Love was in them along with that uncertainty, and friendship, and the loyalty to the life he had chosen for himself. Misfortune that I will have no time to think about this, that I have to make a decision now... Rocky gave his answer directly to the she-cat he loved more than anyone else in the entire world, his woe and strife in his voice. "Cherry," He started, but paused for a moment. "Your eyes are lovely in this light," He murmured, as the sunhigh light filtered in through the few windows dotted around the warehouse. He jumped out of his dream and continued, "I cannot return with you to the Clans, Cherry. My heart is where I live, in the cave. Your heart is in the Clan, with your sister; and besides, who else could I trust to make sure my mousebrained brother didn't get himself killed out there? No, this is what has to happen. But goodnight is not goodbye; I will see you again, I promise." With those final words, he turned and left the warehouse.
Ghostpaw was panting a little, and had a couple of stinging cuts on him, but though his bright blue eyes were fixed on Demon, he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Rocky was leaving the warehouse. "Wait!" He called to his brother, but Duskhaze touched the apprentice's shoulder with his tail. "No, let him go," Duskhaze said softly, and tears began to fill Ghostpaw's eyes. "First Phoenixpaw, now Rocky. I need to be alone. No, don't worry, I'm not going after Rocky, I'm going to be alone," Ghostpaw added when the dark gray warrior looked at him skeptically. "Fine. But please don't get yourself killed." Duskhaze sighed wearily as the apprentice raced out of the warehouse.
Demon watched all of this, absorbing it thoughtfully. "So, he really cares," Demon said insightfully. "My heart does not belong with your -- our -- Clan, Duskhaze. I cannot live with my bloodlust right now, but someday I will. When that someday comes, I will find you. For now, I will begin to shed my bloody name by retaking my old name, Twilight. I may be far different the next time you see me, Duskhaze, so prepare for that. I will not be Twilight forever, just until I am ready to live among others knowing that I will always have the urgent instinct to kill them, and be able to control this fully Goodbye for now, Duskhaze." Duskhaze looked pleadingly at his brother. "Please don't go yet," He called to the retreating outline of his only sibling. But Twilight didn't hestitate, and continued on into the dawn horizon.
Slumping in sorrow that the last family he would ever know was leaving, he looked around for a brief moment, and upon seeing the outline of Shellpaw again, he was reminded of a deep and double-edged decision. I love her, he thought simply, but I love Rainstorm too... I cannot have two mates... Something came to him. What if he had neither, then? There would always be a large hole in his heart where love belonged, but this way neither would be hurt, he would not be forced to break either heart.
((Wow... er... yeah... he's going cold again...))

Cherry looked hurt, but she seemed to understand. Shellpaw saw tears in the red she-cats eyes. ' She loves him!' Shellpaw realised. Her sister loved Rocky. It all made sense!! The dark apprentice turned to her sister to speak, but Cherry spoke first. "Ok, I'm ready to go." she said sadly. Shellpaw looked from Cherry to Rocky and back to Cherry. Shellpaw smiled. "No. You belong with Rocky. He loves you. You love him." Shellpaw nudged her sister towards the retreating tom. " Go get him!" she said playfully.
Cherry smiled at her sister. She really did want to be with her, but Rocky was important. Shellpaw was right. The red she-cat smiled at her sister. " Thanks Shellpaw. " she mewed happly. She turned and dashed after Rocky, running as fast as her legs could take her.
Shellpaw smiled sadly at her sister's retreating figure. ' My only family gone.' she thought sadly. ' But at least she's happy.' Shellpaw felt the tears stream past her nose and onto the dirt below her. She shook them off. No, she couldn't be sad. Things had turned out fine.
Shellpaw turned to Duskhaze, smiling brightly but not honestly. " Well then. I guess we should be rounding up the other two and head home." she mewed quietly.
(( I'm so mean. I made her leave because i don't want to rp her))

Feeling so deeply tempted to go to Shellpaw and tell her how he felt, he knew he could never do that, so Duskhaze simply watched, heart-piercing sorrow inside him. But when she cried, he could not stop himself, so he padded to her side, and gave a lick to her forehead. "I lost my only family too," He murmured soothingly, and though he wanted so to twine his tail with hers, he daren't, lest he be caught in the maelstrom of love's fury. "Ghostpaw and Phoenixpaw... I get the feeling they don't want to be bothered..."
He was alone with her. Desire to tell her hurt him, but he didn't let a hint of it show; this was his burden to bear, not hers, to love two individuals equally. So he turned to the door, and glancing at her with his amber eyes, said, "Let's go home." He raced out of the warehouse, turned a corner, and proceeded to sprint down the street, in the direction of home. He scaled the fence easily, and paused to wait for Shellpaw before darting into the forest and running all the way back to camp.
((Sorry for that, but I need to get him to the camp for Rainstorm's thread ^^)
