Serval instantly felt strength flow through her body, pain with anger fueling her. "How am I supposed to really know!" The words came out harshly, the question that may have been, gone as she snapped her head over at Thorn. She could feel her pelt bristling and her green flecked eyes blazed. "It's my fault that she's such a pain now, don't you think I might have felt some guilt, maybe even remorse! Yet, I'm still afraid of her, which is why I don't want anyone to know who I am! I'm not better than crowfood, a coward for that I'm a sure, yet I have enough anger fueling me that I could-" She stopped herself, jaw clenched her breathing coming out in deep puffs, blowing out like smoke.

"I see." Thorn moved away abruptly, no longer lending his support. "Then I don't think it's time for you to come back to DarkClan. Until you've got yourself figured out, I'll have to ask you to leave our territory. We'll wait here for Current and Silver."

"Yes sir." Serval sighed, sitting down shamefully, fur falling flat without the help of grooming. "I'm sorry for the trouble I have caused." Her words were flat, but were honest as she hung her head down low.

Her white and gray tabby pelt stumbled through the trees aimlessly. Yes, she had been able to create a hard barrior between her and her thoughts of Serval, though when her daughter left so did a piece of her. Stone sat back on her haunches, running her tongue down her chest self-conciously. Her ears pricked up at the sound of Thorn and another she-cats voice. This female's sound she was not used to and, Stone decided to do a little investigation. Breaking through the bramble, she stepped lightly on the thin snow covered ground. Stone looked at the leapard printed she-cat, nothing ringing a bell.
"Well, hello there." Stone said, her voice still hadn't lost it's charm. Giving a confused glance to Thorn she continued. "Who are you?"

Serval didn't flinch, stiffen, or do any of the things that would have crossed through her mind when she heard that voice. 'Mom.' She mouthed the words, not a breath coming out as she looked over at her.

Stone's light blue eyes read the word the strange female cat mouthed. Mom? Her breath exhaled hard as the ground started to spin. Was that Serval? Stone's lungs clenched together as she struggeled to get air. "Serval?" Stone coughed out in shock. "Is that really you?" Her voice was hoarse since her throat was still battling her for the power to choke her.

Serval's eyes stayed on Stone as she turned her body slowly, eyes widdening as she went. "Mom?" She whispered as her heart ripped and tore inside of her.

The snow was thin, and the lean and wiry she-cat padded through it easily. Her muscles were thin and her physique was sleek, so she slipped through the cool weather easily. Though her tan-and-white fur only blended in with the snow a little, Flea was darting around, feeling rather like a squirrel. Here and there, here and there, she caught the little snow-mice that were scrawny and yet the most nourishing thing around, and so she had built up a little store to bring back to the camp. She had been calling herself Frostfur more and more lately, because she loved the cold weather and Silver teased her often about it, calling her Frostfur herself.
When she was about to turn around to go back to the camp, she heard voices and was drawn to them. She padded lightly, and, recognizing Current's dark fur, skiped over to the group, tall and lean as she was. "Um..." She looked at Serval for a few seconds before she realized it was her sister, and when she did and noticed the look on her mother's face, she felt a little awkward, and sat with her tail around herself.
((I want to call her Frostfur sometimes -- my little joke because she loves the cold like me -- but she's still also Flea.))

Stone could hardly believe was she was seeing, and yet there it, there she was. The she-cat couldn't let herself believe it. After all this time, and here her kit was, all grown up. "Oh.." The way she said her words made it seem like she was hurt. Stone had noticed the condition her daugter was in. Her gaze flicked to Thorn. "You sent someone to get Silver, right?" Her voice wasn' the same light-weighted tone it was only moments ago, it had taken on a defensive string to it. She couldn't believe it, Serval was right there. Stone wanted to run and embrace her long lost kin, but she still held hard feelings toward the ex-darkclan she-cat.

Thorn nodded shortly and said, "Current is fetching her." He didn't say any more than he needed to.

Serval slowly took a a step forward, not knowing how to react to her mother's sudden appearance. "I..uh..." Her words garbled, her lungs strangling themselves as she tried to fight against the tidal wave of fear that rolled through her.

Current emerged-just as though on que-with Silver at his heels. "Thorn I brought her and don't worry, Sto-" Current stopped his sentence as his eyes fell over his mother. "Woah, that's not my fault." The Tom clerified with a startled expression. He looked between his sister and his mother, obviously Stone had recognized Serval. "Stone...are you okay?" Current took a step toward her, seeing the different look in her eye that shocked him. She looked like the determined she-cat she used to be, before Serval had left.
Stone shook her head at Current with an indignant look on her small face. "I am perfectly fine, and who are you to be quesitoning a fully trained warrior?" (p.s. do they call them warriors in Darkclan?) Stone fluffed up her fur, her eyes hard on Current. She was the same stubborn Stone even in the face of a terrifying moment. Turning her gaze to Silver, she nodded respectfully.

((Should I age the kits ahead? It says that they're 6 moons old, and that's really young for them to be all grown up, I'd be picturing 12 moons.))
Flea listened to the exchange, her head turned, but she couldn't resist much longer. With a glance at her mother, the white-and-tan cat stood and pressed herself against Serval. "I haven't seen you in so long..." She whispered somberly.
Silver followed Current, until she scented the DarkClan cats, and the ever-so-subtle scent of injury, so slight that almost no cats could smell it. Only those gifted enough to become Healers could. She carried the small bundle of herbs to Serval's side, and set them down curtly. Silver stood for a few seconds, taking in the new image of a cat that seemed so long ago, but her instincts as a Healer told her to stop looking and start working, so with a nod, she said, "What hurts and where?"

[Resigning her position as Stone’s side, she retreated back to stand with Thorn and Current. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but snapped it back shut, plotting out her words carefully. “She, didn’t want…to see me.” The mother instincts felt like a pain to her gut, though Stone didn’t acknowledge the terrible tremors she was feeling. Silver needed to worry about Serval at the moment and no silly stomach-ache was worth prying Silver away from her daughter. The realization of how Serval had no intentions of seeing her felt as though she were experiencing the death of all nine lives of a leader, the only exception was that she felt this pain every time she thought Serval, so she was afflicted over, and over, and over again.
Current saw slightly twitches in her mom’s side, his worrying becoming terror. He weighed out the possibilities of him being faster then his mom if he ran to get Jaguar. At least he was a veteran when dealing with the insane Stone. Current could almost chuckle. No one really thought the she-cat was insane, she just had her odd ways. Stone was always pretty much the same after Serval left, though something, or somehow the way she acted just triggered something very unnatural to everyone else. Stone had never confided into anyone-as far as Current knew-about her problems. Perhaps she had informed Jaguar, though the younger Tom know that his father would need no admitting from Stone to know there was something wrong with her.

Serval looked down shamefully at Flea, her concern for her making it even worse. "I know, and I'm sorry Flea, I really am." She whispered gently to her sister, any tension in her body gone as she could feel the protective barrier she had made breaking. She looked over to her side, seeing Silver there and hearing her voice brought an unexpected raise in the barrier again though. "There are more scars than scratches here." She told the healer simply as she walked over to Current for a moment, her eyes not passing anywhere near Stone as she did so. "I'm sorry for the trouble have caused you, and I hope you can forgive me for my actions earlier." She lowered her head, but did make eye contact before she made one last turn.
'Why do I feel tremors when I see you? Why are my paws telling me to go the other way?Why..why..why... I love you mother.' The last thought shook the tremors away, even if just for a moment, as Serval faced Stone. "I'm Sorry!" She cried out softly as she pushed her head gently up against Stone, waiting still, for Stone to lash out in anger for what she had done.
