Tormented soul

[lunapelt]

The sound of water dripping into deep pools of more water filled LoudHowler's ears as he stirred from his nest. Blinking, he stretched and gave a mighty yawn. He flinched and drew his leg back as pain tore through his paw. He hissed with frustration, remembering that that cat who had come to his domain had pierced the muscle's in his paw and he slowely unfurled, almost as if he had suddenly become old and brittle. He limped down the narrow path that rose above the pools of water below on pillars of stone, like a bridge.

He paused, carefully manuevering along the edge of a dark pit, the sounds of faint hissing down below. Eyes scanning the dark, he found them useless and scented the air. The smell of Mountainclan cat's were in the cave, but it was old and he found it safe enough to venture out. He paused at the opening of the cave before venturing out, though he still remained close to the cave as he prowled about for prey.

Lunar approached the cave slowly, her ears alert for any sound and body felt like it would jump to anything that came close. Her stomach laid low against the ground as she peaked above the tall grass. She took a deep breath as she walked up to the foot of the cave, her eyes scanned the area for the black tom as well for any MountainClan cats. She caught sight of his dark pelt and turned slowly to where she could get a better view of him. "Tsuki?" She called out calmly as she waited for the tom to answer, though she suspected he was not going to be pleased to see her.

oLoudHowler paused, stiffening. THe scent of a mountainclan cat! As he heard Lunar's voice, he whipped around, pelt bristling as he eyed the tom. He chuckled, looking over him almost mockingly. "Well well...you dared to return... alone." He chuckled circling Lunar slightly as he leered at him. "You're either very brave, or very stupid...but either way it doesn't really matter to me. Even with your friends you couldn't beat me." He chimed, bearing his fangs in a sort of devilish grin.

[Lunar]

"I'm neither brave nor stupid, but if that's the way you see me, so be it." Lunar stated with a flick of her tail as she sat still. A devilish smirk began to try and edge its way onto her face and she clenched her jaw shut, trying to make sure it didn't happen.

[lunapelt]

LoudHowler chuckled slightly in amusement as Lunar spoke, tail flicking in the air slightly as he slowly circled the she-cat, eyeing her though he barely seemed scared of her, almost relaxed even. "So then, what did you come for? Hope to come and silence me have you?" He chuckled slightly at that remark. "Though I don't really see that happening." He flexed his claws as if playing with the image of him attacking, and perhaps killing, lunar in his mind. His muscle's rippled under his thick black pelt as he stalked around her.

[Lunar]

Lunar body rippled with laughter as she rolled over belly up, paws clenched to her sides as she tried to steady her breathing. "You actually thought I had come here to try and kill you? That's a laugh!" She chortled on as her eyes rolled maddeningly. "I know that I couldn't kill you on my own, even if I had the element of surprise. The fact of that is that I know my limits, just as you do." She stifled down the rest of her laugh as she stood back up in a bit more of a presentable fashion, but never the less still making a fool of herself.

"I had just wanted to talk to you, unless you had other plans." She told him simply and with little of the remaining dignity she had.

[lunapelt]

"Oh?" He sat on his haunches, more or less amused at Lunar's attempts and listened mostly out of boredom. Hiding the pain in his paw, he took to nursing the torn muscle and keeping the pain of the wound out of his face or anything that would give it away.

((It's ok, I can't think of much today either.))

Lunar nodded with a shrug of her grey shoulders. "Yes, and I can finds some herbs to heal that." She flicked her tail over at his wound, though little concern showed on her face.

[lunapelt]

He fixed his gaze on the she-cat, still licking his wound before pausing to answer. "It's fine, nothing I can't handle." He meowed, wondering what she might've been up to. trying to gain my trust and catch me off guard, that's all. We'll see where she stands soon enough. he thought silently, his tail flicking liesurely.

[Lunar]

Lunar shrugged again, she hadn't expected him to take her help anyways. "Ok then, but it'll get really inffected unless it's properly cleaned out." She warned him as she swept her tail back and forth against the ground, brushing it across the grass.

[lunapelt]

"Quite wasting my time and say what you were planning to already. I haven't got the time or patient's to sit here listening to useless chattering." Loudhowler growled, his tail flicking more in irritation as he thoroughly licked his paw.

[Lunar]

Lunar flicked an ear at his growling and fought back the urge to roll her eyes at him. "I was wondering why you're on Clan territory, but I'm just basically thinking when the last I saw you was." She sated clamly, though a tick of irritation flickered through her voice.

[lunapelt]

"Heh... I'm not scared of your pety clans. None of them really ever venture here anyways, so truthfully speaking, I'm not intruding. Besides, what clan makes an area that they never use part of their territory?" He snickered as if mocking her.

[Lunar]

"How am I supposed to know? The only thing I've ever heard about this place, is that elders use it as a place to scare kits for their stories." Lunar yawned, she felt no emotion for once, and for once she enjoyed the feeling.

[lunapelt]

The tom yawned as if either tired or bored. "Well then, I guess that means that truthfully you aren't quite a clan cat yet." He stated blandly, setting to work on grooming his leg liesurely. He flicked his ears as if trying to flick water off before setting to work on his tail.
