Shellpaw felt tears at the mention of the two cats who were still not back. " I figured that. But I don't know why Duskhaze is angry and I don't know why the others were even there. They didn't even come with us and you don't even know why we were gone!!" she finished yelling. " Heck, I don't even see the point in going anymore! I didn't find anything important and I'll bet that it's my fault that Duskhaze is upset!" she was sobbing now and wished that Sablestripe would just leave her here so that she could just slowly wither away.

"Why do I get myself into these strange situations?!" Lunar scolded herself as she shook her head in shame, then gathered up her small amount of supplies. "Wait..." She seemed to whispered to herself, remembering something that seemed to hover over her head like a dark cloud. "StarClan, forgive me if this is not what you wish me to do... and if you can tell Wildheart before everyone finds out, please do so." She breathed ghostly as she ran out of the forest blindly her heart lighter than it ever had been.

Shellpaw brushed aside Sablestripe's words as she moved ahead. Of course she would have to tell Hawkstar! That was obvious. She just hoped that Duskhaze would help explain it.

One-eye padded into the forest, his body as lithe and agile as ever. His senses were overwhelmed by the presence of the forest's smells. Aww...and old-fashioned feeling, but it seems new everyday. He thought. He looked around, senses alert. He found his victim and made it pay. He swiftly killed the vole, one of a series of difficult prey, and held up his prize as he praised StarClan.
