"Thank you." Lunar thanked the shecat with a curt nod of her head before she began to run through herbs in her mind. "Marigold and cobwebs!" She mumbled excitedly to herself as she darted around for a moment, finding the plant and effiecent amount of cobwebs. "I'm going to put some marigold on this, just to warn you, it might sting a little." She told the she cat hurridly as she took the marrigold and chewed the leaves and petals into a poulice, then presswed it lightly against the wound.

Shellpaw hissed lightly at the sting, not minding the preassure as much as the pain it brought. "Are you a medicne cat?" she asked. She probaly was, but she wanted to make sure.

Lunar adverted her eyes for a moment, her judgement questionable. "No." She stated bluntly as she dabbed the wound with cobwebs, but didn't speak anymore.

" Really?" she asked scarcasticaly as she watched the she-cat work. Shellpaw sighed as she thought about what she was doing. She was going to be in so much trouble! First she runs out of camp with Duskhaze. Rainstorm wasn't too happy about that. Then she gets her injuries treated by a cat who wasn't from JungleClan and was also tresspassing. 'Hawkstar is going to kill me!' she thought.

Sablestripe had split up with Shellpaw earlier, allowing the apprentice some time alone. Now she tracked down the young she-cat, a bird dangling from her jaws. She stiffened and bristled, scenting an intruder even through the prey she carried. The earthy, dusty MountainClan scent was evident. She squeezed between a narrow gap in the trees, her fern-green eyes narrowed as they fell on the smaller grey trespasser who seemed to be treating a scratch on Shellpaw's leg. "Care to enlighten me, Shellpaw?" Her meow was calm, but like ice.[/color]

Shellpaw darted up straight, but fell back down. " Sablestripe! Um, I see you got some prey." she said quickly, looking anywhere but the warrior's eyes.

"So have you, I see." Sablestripe's tail was lashing now. "Why haven't you taken it back to camp so that Dawnleaf could help you instead of trying to offer it to a MountainClan cat? If she wants food she should learn to hunt one her own territory." Her eyes flicked to the vole lying near Lunar's feet. Under normal circumstances the dark she-cat would have been more laid-back about the matter, but prey was dangerously short this time of year.[/color]

Shellpaw struggled to her feet. " I, I didn't know she was MountainClan!" she studdered. " All I can smell is....." she started getting dizzy. " Blood." she whispered.

Lunar tensed, she didn't like the word blood, much less the smell of it, no matter how many times it had invaded her mind. "Don't blame this on her, I'm sorry I entered your territory without your consent. I was oblivious to where I was going." She paused for a moment, then her words flowed out slowly again. "I'm not a MountainClan cat, despite my scent." She wondered why she had said that, but she didn't ponder that long on it.

Shellpaw glared at the she-cat. " Don't take the blame. I should have known better than to let strangers treat me." she said. "It's not your fault; it's mine. Sablestripe, could you help me back to camp, I'm not feeling well."

Sablestripe's glare softened, ever so slightly. "I'll let you go this time, but if I catch you here again, Shellpaw won't be the one needing the medicinal herbs," she warned with a snarl. "So I suggest you high-tail it back to wherever you came from." Whirling, she grabbed Shellpaw's scruff and yanked her to her paws, somewhat roughly. [/color]

Shellpaw didn't complain with being dragged along even thought it was totally embaresing. Still, she felt really bad aboult this whole thing and her journey earlyer wasn't helping ease her guilt. " Sablestripe, am I in trouble?" she asked seriously.

"You disappear for a day or two, come back without Ghostpaw or Phoenixpaw and give us a heartbroken tomcat to deal with. Then the first thing you do is go find yourself an intruder to chat with, maybe share a vole. So what do you think?"[/color]
