[Lunar]

Blackwish toppled over at the word, not prepared for it one bit. He might as well have passed out considering he must have looked like a complete imbecile crumpled over on the ground like he was. "What did she say!?"

Leppord looked between her sister and the black tom. " I said mate." she meowed simply. " What? Keeping it a secret?" she said playfully.

Crestpaw felt her ears go hot. " No, no, no. You've got it all wrong." she stumbled.
Leppord sighed. " Do I really?"

[Lunar]

Blackwish tried to properly gather himself back up, but failed still as he tried to speak. "We're just really good friends?" He kind of questioned himself at the end of that sentence, his own ears tipping with red.

Leppord smirked. " You seem unsure about that. You must like my sister alot." she paused, her golden eyes shining. " I don't see why though. She always seemed boring to me. Much to serious. "

Crestpaw shook her head, brushing off the last comment. " Blackwish and I are just good friends. There is nothing else." the last part came out kind of strained. Maybe, Crestpaw thought, there could be something else.....

[Honorable Riri]

Skyheart limped back onto land. "I can take it from here, Ringtail. Thanks." She mewed, her eyes glowing with gratitude. She started to limp back to camp. She overheard the conversation. "Don't mean to interrupt Crestpaw, Blackwish, and Leppord...but...I told you so, Crestpaw!" She looked at Crestpaw and then at Blackwish. She twitched her ears and limped as fast as she could so Crestpaw couldn't kill her.

[Lunar]

Blackwish somewhat ignored Ctrestpaw and Skyheart's comments, his anger flaring at Leppord for her's. "She is not boring! If I've met anyone too serious right now it's you! Acting all high and mighty by judging people without even knowing them!" He hissed at her, his pelt bristling.

Leppord blinked slowly, then looked at Crestpaw then Blackwish. " I didn't mean anything offensive. I just think she needs to lighten up and you," she looked back to the tom. " need to tell her how you feel." She turned back to her sister. " I'll be staying near Blue Falls if you want to come talk later. We have a lot of catching up to do." With that , she padded out of camp.

Crestpaw looked over to Blackwish after her sister left. " Thanks for standing up for me." she said quietly. She looked to where Skyheart had been, then looked over to her friend. " Blackwish, how do you feel about me?" Her ice blue eyes were on his paws, avoiding his eyes.

Blackwish froze as Crestpaw spoke, as if he had turned to stone, which he felt like too. His golden eyes were wide, full of fear that he might say something wrong or that it might come out not as he intended. "I...ah...um...well." Blackwish mumbled and stuttered incoherently. 'I wish she could read my thoughts, then she'd know. That I really do care for her and for what happens to her.' His body had relaxed as he thought this, his gold eyes calm and soft.

Crestpaw continued looking at the tom's paws. " If you don't feel comfertable answering, you don't have to." she said quietly. " I was just curious, that's all. " she mumbled, turning away from Blackwish.

[Lunar]

Blackwish snapped his head up as she turned away, his eyes wide. "No, it's not like that!" He called out as he felt his heart pound inside his ribcage. "I really like you Crestpaw!" He continued to call out, his eyes wide and pleading for acceptance, just praying that she would turn back around to face him.

Crestpaw froze and turned to face Blackwish. " You....do?" she questioned, wondering if she had heard him right. ' He likes me?!' she thought rapidly.

[Lunar]

Blackwish nodded quickly, trying to push back the tears that seem to well up in his gold eyes. "Please Crestpaw, just give me a chance." He pleaded softly the tears seeming to fall back in his throat threatening to choke him. "Please."

Crestpaw stood there, eyes closed, thinking about what she had told Blackwish yesterday. ' I'm afraid that if I love someone I'll get so caught up in them, that I won't be able to see the evil around me!' She had said that, but she.... she cared about Blackwish in a way he didn't know. He wouldn't hurt her. He wanted her to give him a chance. She blinked her eyes open. "Why wouldn't I?" she said happily. "Because....I like you too."

[Lunar]

Blackwish's eyes lit up brightly, the tears flowed down his face happily as he smiled. "You..do!" He croaked, some tears had run down his throat. He walked over slowly, a bright broad smile brimming on his dark face. "Thank you." He exaspperated softly.

" Your welcome." she mumbled as she licked his ear. " I guess Skyheart was right." she chuckled happily. Crestpaw smiled at Blackwish. This time, it was a real smile. " I should be thanking you. Thank you for caring. I'm not used to that."
