Dreaming

Crestpaw darted through the camp entrance, skidding to a neat halt near her favorite star-gazing rock. She looked back towards the entrance, waiting to see Blackwish come through after her. He did, and she smirked at him, mouthing 'I win'. She turned to the rock and climbed up it to the very top. Her eyes turned to the sky, witch would be dark soon. The apprentice found herself wondering if Ringtail and Skyheart would be back soon. She knew that she had caught their sent on the way back, so they must still be on the island.

With that thought, she sat down on the rock and curled up into a ball and drifted to sleep. She wasn't sure when she fell asleep, but she knew that she was dreaming.....

Crestpaw ran through the territory, avoiding every obstacal in her path. She wasn't sure why she was running, but it didn't matter. The sence of danger was obvious. She skidded to a halt, almost running straight into the ocean. Her ice blue eyes flashed to her left as a movement caught her eyes. A cat stood beside her, looking out to the sky with panic. "Coonstar!" she called as she reconised the cat. She fell to the ground as the ocean turned to a cliff. She saw the edge around herself crack as she tried to back away from the side. Crestpaw turned to run, but the cliff gave way and she found herself clinging to the side of the cliff. Coonstar started to dissapear as she called to her. " Coonstar!! Please help!" she yowled. Coonstar dissapeared as a fox-like shape took her place. It's jaws snapped at her, causing her to let go, falling into nothingness as the creature watched with smugness at the helpless creature below.

Crestpaw woke with a jerk as she felt her paws dangeling off the side of her rock. She quickly skidded backwards, breathing heavly. She took a deep breath and sighed, her eyes returning to their normal half opened state. 'What was that about?' she thought as she looked up at the still starry sky. 'StarClan...what are you trying to say?'

[Lunar]

Blackwish looked wearily over at Crestpaw, his golden eyes had been tracing the stars in the sky, pointing out pictures that seemed to dance around him. "Crestpaw, are you ok?" His voice filled with unhidden concern, he had stayed with her on a lower rock, but remained like a silent vigil in the night, his pelt blending in with the night sky.

Crestpaw flicked her ears towards the sky in frustration. " Yeah, I'm fine.... just a strange dream. " she paused then looked down at Blackwish. " It's probally from all of that swimming yesterday." she said lightly, trying to reasure him.

[Lunar]

Blackwish raised an eyebrow, but did not go further into the situation. "If you need anything come and tell me, in the meantime I'm going to go hunting for a little bit, ok?" He took her into consideration as he yawned, his own body tired from swimming through the strong waters.

' I guess he is concerned.' she thought. " Ok then. I'm going to go see if the elders need anything." Crestpaw said as she jumped off of the rock. She was about to head towards the elder's den when she paused and then turned back to Blackwish. She leaned forward and licked his ear gently. " Thank you." she whispered then she turned and dashed into the elders den, smiling the whole way.

Blackwish melted slowly as she walked away, his body happily relaxed as a strange emotions filled his dark body. "You're welcome." He mewed softly, though he wondered if she had even heard him. He flexed and stretched his body slowly then walked off back further into the territory, a smile brimming on his face as well.

Leppord dashed throught the entrance, knowing she was close. She was only a blur as she dashed towards her sister's strong sent. "Crestpaw!" she shouted as she saw her sister pading towards a den. She dashed by a black tom, not letting anything stop her now.

Crestpaw stopped short. She knew that voice all to well. ' Oh StarClan. Don't torture me this way.' She turned slowly, pleading that she was wrong. And there stood her sister. "Leppord?" she choked out.

[Lunar]

Blackwish whipped around, all hair on ends as he stared blankly. "What the heck...?" He mumbled out as his jaw hung absently, his eyes pinned on Crestpaw for an answer.

" StarClan why?" she mumbled as she looked at the figure before her, panting with excitment. " Leppord? It can't be. Your dead!" she shouted, backing up quickly. Fear flashed in her ice blue eyes. ' This can't be... I'm dreaming. I've lost it!' she thought, looking from Blackwish to Leppord.

[Lunar]

Blackwish ears perked up, realizing the conversation going through the two. "Crestpaw..." Blackwish walked up slowly to the apprentice, his movements slow and steady as if he was afraid she was going to hurt herself.

Crestpaw wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. She was thankfull that Blackwish was there, or she would have blacked out. " Blackwish, is she really there? Please tell me that I'm seeing things!" she pleaded, desprate to be told that she was just crazy.

[Lunar]

Blackwish edge himself right next to her, turning his head to where she couldn't see Leppord but only his face. "Crestpaw, look at me. There is a cat over there, she fits what you've told me about your sister. But I won't be the one to make the final decision that it is her, you have to." He spoke gently, his golden eyes burning softly.

Leppord scowled. Her own sister didn't belive her! She thought she was dead! How could she? " Hey! I'm over here!" she shouted at Crestpaw. " Can't you see me?" Crestpaw turned towards her, then sighed. "Thanks Blackwish." Silence filled the airas the two sisters looked at eachother. " You... you are alive." she said camly. " I guess.... things have changed. How did you survive?" she asked, wondering how it was even possible. " I was taken in by a couple of two-legs for a bit. But they were really stupid, so they didn't notice when I was gone. Then I thought I saw you one day. So I decided to find you." Leppord turned to Blackwish. " And you are?"

[Lunar]

Blackwish looked solemnly over at the she-cat, something about her made him feel like he had a thorn in is pelt. "I'm Blackwish, warrior of IslandClan." He stated monotone state, a layer of grouchiness coating him.

"I see." Leppord mewed. " Crestpaw, you seem to have found quite a mate." she said smugly. " He seems to really care about you."

Crestpaw jerked. " W-what?" she choked out, her ice blue eyes angry.
