Jadestar glanced softly at Fogkit. "Maybe there is no need for a battle today," She said. "Bloodshed is not necessary to keep the balance. I know some cats would love to sink their claws into DarkClan, but there is no need if we have our kits. However," She continued, glancing around the clearing and trying to find Muted, "If there are ever any more reports of incidences caused by this... DarkClan, I will not hesitate to take action."
Midnight stared ruefully at his sister's body. He slunk over to her still shape and touched his nose to her ear one final time. He turned and looked Silver straight in the eye. He caught the healer's gaze, and nodded quickly, before turning and pelting full speed to the left and away from all groups of cats.
Goldpaw cried out when Midnight took off, but Silver came over to her sister, tail twitching. "His fate does not lie here," She murmured to her sister. Midnight's disappearance had shaken her more than it had Goldpaw, but she knew it was not in his easygoing, free spirit to be this close to so many Clans and cats. He was not the leader-type of cat, and would never be. Jadestar watched Midnight run, and whispered, "Farewell."
Moonkit lay down on the heard earth. She yawned widely, and finally noticed that most of MountainClan was missing. "Erm... where's momma?" She asked Goldpaw, who was nearby. The gold appentice shook her head. "Back at camp, I guess."

Stone growled at the cats. She was udderly confused. Stone sprinted back to the make shift nursery, relaxing ever so slightly at the sight of Jaguar. "Jaguar, I believe that there will be no fights." Stone said calmly, gazing affectionatly down upon her four kits that were layn in front of her.

Pharaoh heaved a sad sigh and looked around. Poking his head out of the bush, he called, "Mama? Mama, where are you?" He padded tentatively out, shrinking back at the sight of so many tense and angry-looking cats.

Instantly, a flash of spotted fur flung herself toward her kit. Egypt wouldn't let any cat lay a paw upon her son. "Are you okay Pharaoh?" Egypt asked worried, looking over him to make sure there was no sign if injury. Egypt looked around, her fur bristling, daring any cat with brains to law a claw on Pharoah.

"I'm fine, Mama." Pharaoh looked down at his paws, exhaustion and grief still clinging to the young cat like a dark cloud. Suddenly he looked up blue eyes bright. "Hey!" he mewed. "I saw Moonkit go off with a bunch of other cats! If she likes them, they must be nice. Can we go with her?" He gazed up at his mother pleadingly.

Egypt flicked her tail uneasily. She knew this topic would come up one day, but she hoped otherwise. "Honey, we belong here. Or at least I do." Egpyt sighed for what she was about to say. "I will always belong to this clan, but darling, if you wish to leave, then I will arrange for you to live within a clan." Egypt's eyes were brimming with tears as she said this. She rasped her tounge over the small kits head. Egypt wanted to plead him not to accept, but she knew she couldn't. Then she wished she hadn't have given him the option. But words are like bullets, you can't grab them after their gone, and sometimes, they kill. Of course, the clan she was thinking of letting Pharaoh join was Islandclan. Any other clan, she wouldn't do it, in fear of the other cats looking down on him and judging him. Her sisster lived in Islandclan, can you guess the similarities between the two sisters?

Blackheart smiled knowingly. "I rue the day that they exiled me as much as you rue the day that my clan stole your kits. The Blackpaw I was was dedicated and would've done anything for his clan." Blackheart's eyes glazed over with pain. "Do not blame the cat I was for what I am now for I am simply the Blackheart they said I was." Blackheart blinked sadly. "Family, friends and leader turned their backs on Blackpaw. Why should I be kind to you when they do such things to him?" Blackheart lifted his gaze past Scar and towards Jadestar expecting an answer. His voice was no longer angry but his question was true.

Jadestar's bright green eyes searched Blackheart for a moment. She nodded somberly. "I am sorry for your past. If something like that had happened to me, I would be upset as well. But they were wrong. You didn't have to make what they said true, but that is your choice." She smiled sadly at him. "But not all Clans are like that. I know for a fact mine is not, and I would never, ever jump to a conclusion like that; you are a cat underneath StarClan and deserve better." She sat, watching Blackheart.
Silver turned to Scar, remembering what she'd said. "But," She protested softly, "If you are not leader, who will be?" She shook herself for a second before saying, "Don't leave! We need you here, Scar, to help us in DarkClan."
Goldpaw shuddered and sat down, closing her eyes.
Moonkit pranced over to Pharaoh, giggling. "Well, we're not leaving yet, so wanna play?" She pounced on his tail, laughing.

Pharaoh stared up at his mother. "Yes!" he cried. "I want to go with Moonkit!" He pulled his tail out of her grasp, turning and pouncing on her with delight.

Blackheart dropped his head and looked at Jadestar "I thank you for your words of...help but time has gone by and the wound they bestowed on me will never be fully healed. I shall never look on clan life again without the pain lingering below." Blackheart looked at the sky, the soft stars reflecting onto his eyes. "Maybe starclan will help ease the pain." He looked at Jadestar with a brand new sadness in his eye. " Your clan is a friend and I thank you for making me realize that not all clans are the same."

Jadestar nodded sagely. "The wounds that are bestowed on us all shall never be taken. They are too deep and have scarred the soul, that is very true. We must look to another dawn and a brighter day." She smiled kindly.
Moonkit laughed with glee and wriggled out from under Pharaoh. She play-nipped his ear, flicking her gray tail across his face, giggling.

"Scar..." Shadowrain started off, pushing himself closer. "That could not be your destiny either. StarClan wouldn't have any of it. It's just not fair. No cat would dare to give their life or stay away from their own Clan, especially being our leader." he finished, lowering his head in respect at the last statement.

"But maybe it is my destiny to choose," she snapped at Shadowrain. Her eyes harden as much as her heart did. She felt weak like she never did in moons. Being leader was the last thing she wanted. She wanted Muted to see her mistake, but it looks like she has failed in that and left the Clan for defeat or worse. There was a twitch in the scar on her back. The old reminder of her past. "If StarClan did not want me to choose between the two then they can answer for themselves. My faith in them was lost when Blackstar gave me this scar. I knew what I did was wrong, but could you really think that I knew what I was doing from being starved to death by him. He gave all the food to the elders and gave nothing else to the warriors, apprentices, not even his own medicine cat! But yet, he took prey for himself as well even if it was only a mouthful," she spat.
Snowpaw moved closer to Softkit with quick speed. "Do not worry, I'm here to help and others are here as well," he said softly to the kit.
Fogkit was filled with fear as the dark she-cat spat about StarClan and her old Clan leader. He didn't understand what she was talking about since he was still young. His eyes widen... If she could be leader why does she refuse it?

Thorn sat stiffly, his dark eyes narrowed and unreadable, as he unblinkingly watched Scar and the large group of Clan cats. Tail held high, he finally stood and stalked over to the elderly cat. "I can see you've become quite friendly with these cats, Scar." Thorn's mew was icy. "Do you want to explain, or should I get right to the task of ripping you to shreds?" He unsheathed his frighteningly long claws and sank them into the soft ground.

Silver sat, watching Scar as she fumed. She nodded regally. "You are my best friend. It is indeed your destiny to choose, leadership or not. StarClan... They give us what they see, and it is our turn to decipher it. We cannot think that they have abandoned us when their answers to our questions are unclear, this is true. But your actions of the past have nothing to do with today. They would forgive you for this. Blackstar should have seen that... that it was his folly for abandoning his Clan in a harsh time and becoming greedy. Blackstar was at fault, not you, and you should not be rebuked for actions of his whose consequences meant ill for you." She paused as Thorn approached, and turned to him, shoulder fur rising dangerously. "If DarkClan ever hopes to survive it needs allies, Thorn. Not to mention the fact that she shouldn't have to explain. Strength builds leadership here, and she is strong. She has supporters." Silver's tail flicked back and forth and she tensed.
Goldpaw sat next to Softkit and rasped her tongue lightly over the kit's forehead. "They are on their way."
((Goldpaw'll get more serious later, I promise ^^;;)
