Stone + Jaguar [[past tense]]

Stone lay on her side beneath a tall and thick fir tree. It shaded her from the sun and the wind, it was very cozy under it. Her tail lay where it was as her white and light gray head rest upon the side of her extended paw. Her mouth opened wide and her tounge popped out as she emitted a cute high pitch squeal of a yawn. Stone shook her head and flicked a fly that was trying to go into her ear with her paw.

Jaquar dark tail swung back and forth as sat in the thick fir tree. His dark grey pelt blended in with the shadows of the tree. His dark green eyes watched Stone as she lay under the tree flicking the fly away. A soft, small grin eased its way onto his face. Gracefully he climbed down and sat next to her, placing his tail lightly on her shoulder. "So has sleeping beauty waken up from her nap?" he said teasingly into Stone's ear. He slowly stretched and curled up beside her waiting for an answer.

Stone opened one eye and smiled. He called me beautiful she thought, it took all she had not to let a squeel of joy out like a kit. "Yep, dumb flies dont help though." Stone flicked her head as one landed on her eye. "So, you really think i'm beautiful?" Stone asked him with a smile. She opened both dark blue, almost gray, eyes and scooted closer to Jaguar.

He looked back straight into her eyes with a soft smile as he saw her try to retain her joy. "Of course I think you're beautiful, why wouldn't I?" he said scooting closer to her as well. As his dark gray pelt brushed up against her white pelt he felt a soft happy shiver go down his spine. He let his tail wave back and forth happily as he kept his gaze fixed on her.

Stone's eyes widened as he admitted to it. She had guessed it was one of those sayings that ment nothing, well not now. Stone's black spined tail also started to float back and forth. When she accidentally bumped his dark gray tail, he skin under her white fur tinted gray. "Well, your cute." Stone cursed herself in her head. Is that the best she could come up with. She turned warm as she embraced his touch. Her light gray tiara nocked into his shoulder blade as she looked up into his warm eyes.

"Well, thank you." he said softly back. He could feel heat slowly rising from her fur as well as his own. He didn't mind that as his tail gradually kept going it bumped into hers. He looked softly back into her deep caring gaze, for a moment he felt like he would just float away into the sky and he hoped she would follow. His green eyes filled with compassion and love as he locked his gaze even stronger with her. He felt as if he could burst with joy, yet he was as relaxed as if he were asleep.

Stone smiled and looked into his gaze as well. She looked down, it was just, she liked im so much, his eyes did something to her. Stone yawned again and squealed once more and snapped her jaw shut. She rocked upward and walked foreward, trailing her tial on Jaguar's back as she went. "Would you like to go hunting with me? I'm hungry enough to eat you." Stone smiled at him, her dark blue eyes had regained themselves and she didnt look away when their eye locked again.

Jaquar had to try hard to suppress the chuckle that wanted to escape him when she squealed. He felt the soft touch of he tail down his back and he stood up slowly watching as she went ahead. "Sure, I'll go hunting with you, just promise me you won't eat me if we don't catch anything." he said slowly as he felt the soft intensity of their gazes towards one another. He walked up slowly and stood beside her, he let the tip of his tail softly touch her shoulder before he began to walk past her.

Stone smiled and padded after him. Her strides were long as she strutted in front of Jaguar. She slowed down and wlked at a normal pace to match Jaguar's. "So, you ever had a mate?" Stone asked, very random thing to sat, but she couldnt hel it, she was curious. Her light gray back stood out against her white fur which looked as though it was on fire with the help of the sun's reflection. Every strand end glistned with a dark gray as it made Jaguar's coat appear on it.

He slowed his pace a little as she asked him this. "No, I haven't. Have you Stone?" he asked as he soaked in the sun's warmth. He felt the heat go through all of his body from his paws to the tip of his tail. 'She's very curious that's for sure.' Jaquar thought with a grin.

Stone shook her head. "No, havent had that experience yet." Stone tilted her head and smiled. "I hope to soon." She added, she giggled a little, she had a lot more stored. Stone shuddered as the cold that had filled her body left, replacing it with the warmth of the sun. Stone stopped as they entered the shadows, she could scent a squirrel. Stone dropped to a hunters crouch and slowly stalked foreward. Suddenly, a dog broke through the trees that had sheiled his coat and figure. "Run!" Stone hissed, and lunged at the dog. It had the tan and black markings and a thick body structure of a rottweiler. It growled deeply and barked a low tone bark that vibrated Stone's body as she jumped on his head and clawed his eyes.

"No! I won't leave you!" he hissed as he barreled towards the dog's throat. He lept but missed as iron jaws grapped his tail. He yowled out in pain, but still began to claw out at the dog's muzzle. "Stone go! I can distract him long enough for you to get away." he yowled at the she-cat. He reached up and clawed out at the dog's eyes which made the big brute let him go. "Please Stone, run while you still have a chance!" he yowled as he rushed towards the dog again.

Stone shook her head vigerously at Jaguar's pleas. "Like I would leave you." Stone said sarcastically and rushed toward the dog at full speed, side by side with Jaguar. She hissed at the dog as it's jaws were aimed right at her. Stone extended her paw in between the sharp row's of teeth and clawed the dog's tounge. It whipered as blood poured out of it's mouth. Suddenly a shape whistle sound came from the Penbrooke and the dog reluctently back off of the two hyperventilating cats. Stone stare at the puddle of blood that lay there where the deadly dog had once been. "Think the squirrel got away?"

[Lunar]

"Maybe?" he said with a slight laugh. "Do we enjoy taking risks?" he teased as he began to run off to find that stupid squirrel. He could see something that looked somewhat like the same squirrel so he lowered himself into a hunters crouch and began to stalk foreward steadily. When he was in pouncing range he lept out at it and killed it in one swift bite. He walked back calmly to Stone and dropped the squirrel infront of her. "Is this the same squirrel?" he said slowly while poking out at it.

Stone sniffed the limp body and smiled. "Nope, but it's better, thank you." Stone leaned foreword and licked Jaguar on the nose. Her fur once again began to tint red with embarrassment at what she had just done. Stone lowered her head and took a bite of the dead squirrel. She layed down across from Jaguar and chewed her bite while looking at him.
