Dawnstorm raced after the she-cat, raced as fast as her legs could take her. But before she could even jump into the water, Dawnstorm slipped on a slippery rock and sprained her paw. Dawnstorm could only watch in horror as Stone took Fogkit across the water and onto the island. For a moment she was greatful Midnight was there, he might have a chance to get him back. But once she saw the silver and white she-cat race off out of view, she couldn't help but cry.
Marblekit walked up next to her mother and burried her nose into her side. "It's okay momma, we'll get him back." She looked up to Dawnstorm, who seemed to ignore everything around her. Marblekit was worried, and hoped the gathering would end soon. [/size] |

Midnight knew he was outnumbered and hissed with fury. But when the silver she-cat slipped away, he followed her. Silent as ever, he sent a fervent prayer to StarClan that they wouldn't hurt the kit. Leaping silently and following the scent of OceanClan dung, he trailed them.

Nightkit saw Dawnstorm,and ran back to her."Mommy!That cat took Fogkit!"Then,Nightkit beckoned to Dawnstorm to follow him.

Dawnstorm knew Nightkit was there, but she stared at almost nothing, her eyes looked slightly hollow. "Yes... I know." Marblekit was worried, and knew they should get their mother to camp now.
"We need to get back to camp now, Momma." Marblekit then pushed on Dawnstorms side to get her to stand and then walked back to camp. "We need Blackpatch to help Nightkit. She could go and get Leafsong..." She then turned more to her brother. "Who took him?" [/size] |

Snowstorm,who was hunting around the shore,saw Midnight chasing a unfamilar cat,and realised that Fogkit had been stolen by the cat.She ran after Midnight,hoping to help.
